In favor of edg how?
EG had longer to prep for them and only played their mediocore maps in group stage. They have so much firepower ready in the means of map veto and strats on top of their raw skill. EDG have already showed 5 of their maps in group stage and Potter being extremely prep heavy are going to have a pretty easy time dealing with them.

I think EDG should maybe ban fracture if they don’t wanna give EG a free map, since imo EG’s fracture is >>>, but I think EDG can beat them on other maps

This narrative that they weren’t trying is a bit over blown imo. But regardless EDG is much tougher than anyone they played in groups recently still. Ultimately I believe they have a chance bc as much as I love demon1 he hasn’t played a match where he was like by far and away the best player in the server. KangKang has though. Basically what I’m saying is imo EDG have the best player in the server and like in any game or sport when you have the best player on your team you will always have a chance

eg have played/shown 2 maps (not even their best maps their most mediocore maps) and have gone 4-0 in all of groups
while edg have shown 5 of their maps in group stage. Knowing eg who are very prep heavy on top of their already better mechanical skill it should be clear eg win this regardless if its close or not. (eg also have had way longer to prac rather than edg who were the last team to make playoffs)

I will be rooting for edg, but realistically speaking, eg wins

I think EDG have a chance but its like 70-30 in favors of EG cause they had more prep time showed less maps and also probably have some strats saved for playoffs
