LOUD wasn't in form.
NAVI wasn't in form.
PRX was missing something.
EG gave up after map 2.
I like Fnatic but this really feels like the weakest event to win next to lock in.
yawnster [#7]FLAIR LMAOOOOOOOOO HOW DO YOU LOSE THAT MAP KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
How was it that close is the real question
TL wasn't in form
DRX wasn't in form.
NRG threw against PRX
EDG threw against PRX
T1 threw against EDG
FUT wasn't in form
....
Are we going to complain about every single match up in the whole tournament because the teams weren't in form? LOUD started showing cracks in the Americas League. Navi was shaky even in the round Robin of the EMEA league. EG was up 8-4 in the last map against Fnatic. That doesn't sound like giving up to me. The only valid argument is that PRX didn't have something. But they lost 2-0 to fnatic anyways. What would something have done? Made it 2-1? Fnatic would have definitely made plays around something to shut him down. Let's stop coping and accept that for now we are kn the fnatic era.
smb_0 [#23]FNATIC is just the best right now. idk what the other teams need to do to catch up, but that's why the analysts and head coaches are paid and not me
Loud need to replace tuyz yes he’s a great harbor but when harbor goes out the meta like it is starting to do what then he’s too inconsistent on the other controller agents he needs more experience basically on other agents other than harbor.
Navi need to stop letting angel go crazy with comps and stop letting him switch everyone’s roles around.
Drx need to figure out whether they are gonna fully go all in on foxy9 or have zest come in full time again and wait a year or 2 to bring foxy9 in when’s he’s older and more experienced.
Prx obviously will get something back.
Eg need to replace com in my opinion as he’s their weak link plus their players need to get more experience and they don’t have to replace com it might just be a problem with experience and as he goes to more international tournaments he will get better so they just need to go to more international tournaments to get more experienced so eg just have to wait patiently and make sure they qualify for as many international tournaments as possible.
Liquid need to just be more prepared mentally they’ve got the players to at least compete it’s just they need to mentally prepare for the pressure of playing on stage more and get more consistent.
That’s what needs to happen for them to stand a chance against fnatic. Will they be able to beat them probably not but it will give them a much better chance then they have now
Asuna_Yuuki [#20]How was it that close is the real question
bcoz boaster seems to struggle against 'working' weird comps..but then mini takes a timeout and then they are back...still i trust prx to beat fnc using weird comps, bcoz unlike other teams who copy comps, prx play their own game and are probably the best team in terms of innovative 'mini setups' and wont show their #2 setup unless u beat their #1 setup
