viewership isn't necessarily the most important thing. i know that a lot of other streaming platforms are bringing in viewership, plus these games are taking place in japan from 12-5 pm on a monday. what i do care about (as a huge fan) is that the production value is MUCH higher than before and they're innovating and cooking shit up for champs, which will pull much more viewers due to more teams and better times for Americas and EMEA
the production is completely dogshit as always. Elisa invitational has better production than Riot (unironically). And they won't improve, because even though Valorant is bleeding playerbase/viewership the entire community are a bunch of low-standard, no-taste, cocksucking, complient riot-drones who can never criticize the absolute dogshit of a product they are being presented.
The game is bleeding and as time passes by and the product continues to be dogpoopoo it's going to get worse. People are so nearsighted that they can't envision what the numbers are going to be like in 2 years with this rate. So they can't see the catastrophe.
