Why do you hate Soniqs? Is it the fans or the players?? They aren't upsetting any big teams so there's like, no reason lol
My man, your dearest Valorant team Soniqs aren't hated by anyone, they're just kinda ignored or forgotten. They came high and mighty from Australia, saying that their pure and raw aim are better than the rest of NA teams and when the tournaments start... Well, they cannot get past Tier 2 tournaments.
So, in reality, you cannot hate a team, which you couldn't care less about.
In conclusion, people couldn't care less about them. Why? Because their matches do not bring you that excitement... and so on.
Cheasle2 [#4]because NA fans have to put other regions down or they don't feel good about themselves.
? I would want nothing more than Soniqs to be a top team in NA. Honestly, NA and OCE are usually hand in hand in many esports. I would love to see OCE succeed. Love my brothers to the south.

Just a couple of toxics can give a false impression of an entire community

Absolutely. Really the only region I think NA fans give trash talk to on the regular is EU. And it's mostly in good fun, NA has rightfully been a laughing stock in CSGO. So when we finally win you best believe they're gonna be trash talk thrown back. I love friendly banter and trash talk. But sadly there are people from all regions in the world that take it too far. Also because of the language barriers around the world, some banter that is meant to be harmless can come across toxic.
I think most people just want to have fun with maybe some occasional trash talk that really means nothing at the end of the day. But the toxic people that take it too far draw our attention.
LouBag [#18]The real question should be, why did they move to NA when they should have tried to qualify through Brazil?
After watching sharks in Iceland, I think Soniqs would have a realistic chance of qualifying through Brazil.
that's a pretty one-head take lmao. the competition is worse in brazil and theres 10x less money because it is poorer than the US and a lot of the esports investment is locked up in the brazil csgo scene. even a tier2/tier 3 team in the US can expect to make 700-1000 USD per month, and there is also the monthly NSG tourneys to look forward to.

mwzera has made less money from prize winnings than iyen (and Soniqs have only been in the NA scene for a few months) thats how little money there is comparatively in the br scene. NA is also a much more similar environment than brazil is. if you are going to go to a foreign country to compete, you might as well go to the one with the same language no?

dunno if this is bait or not, but the best team through the OCE circuit will travel to NA for a chance to qualify for Masters 3

na achieved nothing in csgo let them be proud of their region for once :D

Yeah I really like trash talk too, but for example in last Masters Brazil received sooooo much hate, it was to toxic, but again I don't know if it were just a couple of people repeating the same. But whatever, you can't control the people, they are gonna keep doing the same

Riot literally forced all OCE teams to qualify through NA. They didn't have a choice.
they don't get anymore hate than other teams its whenever they do people think its targeted especially if their doing bad. TSM has got ravaged for months and 100t got hate as well. When your considered Tier 1 in another region and then just see yourself consistently losing to NA's tier 2 scene its going to get you hate. People will say bad things as long as their is bad things to say but if you play well people won't say shit, its almost as if people talk shit as a form of lazy criticism. T1 get hate every game they play and nobody complains your soniqs team is no different and will get hate as long as they lose but if they start WINNING and displaying dominance then people will hop on the bandwagon and cheer with you guys
