🇺🇸 EG
🇹🇷 FUT
🇺🇦 Navi
🇰🇷 DRX
🇰🇷 T1
🇨🇳 ASE
🇨🇳 EDG

Out of these teams only EG without demon1, T1 who have been inconsistent, and ASE/EDG who are more unproven against top competiton aren’t top tier. And all of those teams have good potential to cause dmg and upset one of the favorites.

Think about a group with NRG, FUT, DRX, and EDG, that shit would go hard af.

And whoever wins here has to face off with Loud, Fnatic, Liquid, and PRX (all of whom are capable of flat out winning).

Masters Tokyo is gonna be insane.

It’s impossible for DRX and NRG to be in the same group, NRG will be grouped with T1 and DRX will be grouped with EG.

The GSL groups will be randomly drawn, with each of the groups containing one team per region (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China). The playoffs will be completely randomly drawn, with the only rule being that group stage teams will face an Advanced Seeding team.

Basically, every group needs to have a player from each seed
Navi and EDG are seed 4
EG and T1 are seed 3
FUT and ASE are seed 2
DRX and NRG are seed 1

Randomly drawn but accounting for seeding. Would be unfair if not

I don’t understand how suzyVLR knows the opening matches but the original tweet says it would be Drx/Nrg/Navi/Edg right?
Cuz same region teams cannot be in the same group

it clearly is a fluke, teams weren't looking inshape at the beginning of the season, look at eg and team liquid. sentinels are making roster changes. since the meta is new, its gonna take a few months to get into it. also 100t, they improved a lot since lock in. by the time people got used to it, their playoff chances were gone, I hate to admit it but sentinels are a big example

Teams had 7 months to get in their best form and still had problems during the season. They were given ample opportunity to to be the best version of themselves and they couldn't even do that with more than half a year of prep. Also how come some teams were able to adapt to this new meta but others could not? It's the nature of competition. The hardest and smartest working see the rewards of their efforts.

where is blud getting his numbers from? and i agree with the adapt but emea is a farmers league, so if u adapt a little bit, you can easily make it. But like roster changes are messing teams up which sets them back a few steps.

The numbers come from the end of champs to the start of the leagues. Also, the teams are the ones making the roster changes. They are the ones to blame for their own shortcomings.

1) the meta changed... first match we saw was lock in and that wasnt even that long. also each week in the split, there was only like 3 games so hard to actually counterstrat until later. if the meta wasn't changing like last year, we would c which team would actually stand out on top
