Yup it's so weird cause actually his last name is Gallego, (galician), and he is galician. If you watch the EMEA crowd there is always banner that says "Fitinho Vigo esta contigo", Vigo it's his city right in the frontier with Portugal. Celta de Vigo football team
eszett [#32]yeah i heard that someday

Catalan is Spoken in most of the Eastern coast. Catalonia, Valencia and Balearic Islands. Barcelona alone is like 15% of the Catalan speakers tho so good guess, but not the case
Mortadelo [#57]Catalan is Spoken in most of the Eastern coast. Catalonia, Valencia and Balearic Islands. Barcelona alone is like 15% of the Catalan speakers tho so good guess, but not the case
Interesting, I didn't know that. I thought Catalan was spoken only in Catalunya and tried to guess the most famous city. Said that, you're valencian.
Trapyy_ [#56]French is the best no doubt, their accent in any other language is great
i think the best part of french is the writing
eszett [#58]Interesting, I didn't know that. I thought Catalan was spoken only in Catalunya and tried to guess the most famous city. Said that, you're valencian.
Yeah a lot of people think that but those 3 zones used to be part of the same Kingdom, Aragon Kingdom where they spoke Catalan. Southern Italy was part of it too, I believe there is still a couple places in Cerdenya where they still speak Catalan.
Sorry for the history lesson tho lol

I Know Aragon Kingdom bc of Fernando (Isabel's husband) and I knew it used to have the eastern part of Hispania, but thought there were different languages.
Don't bother, I love history.
h786 [#67]Arabic - the Language of the Quran and of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Aramaic/Hebrew - the Language of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) and Prophet Moses (PBUH)
i love aramaic too, but it is only spoken in a strict part of syria :((
my_fav_team_is_M3C [#70]I speak Arabic to God, English to my horse, Russian to men and I never speak to women.
Yeah, São Paulo is very influenced by italians (60% of ancestry)
LMAO THE EDIT

For native Russian speaker, the most beautiful language for me is Portuguese. I can go further and say not the standard one, but Brazilian one, especially Sao Paolo accent. It sounds like it influenced by Italian language. Basically, Portuguese has the same beauty as French, but sounds more mature and gallant, Italian is great too but too quick so has the second place, I would say French is third. And let say jerman is fourth but only if women speak 😂
eszett [#69]wtf i didn't know !Xóõ wtf
I'd be more surprised if you know Akwê Xerente before you know !Xóõ
kzeriar [#74]I'd be more surprised if you know Akwê Xerente before you know !Xóõ

Hell yeah man good job.
Yeah interestingly enough they don't speak Catalan in Aragon anymore. Just Catalunya, Valencia and the Balearic Islands. It's cool but kinda useless ngl, like there are about 10 million speakers which is very decent, but everyone who speaks it's also perfectly fluent in Spanish so it doesn't really add a lot of value in that sense

Yeah, makes sense. In general, will be more usefully speak spanish bc everyone in the country speaks.
eszett [#45]i see

not to discourage you but almost any hinduism material that exists in hindi, has been translated to english. The nicher and untranslated works usually exist in sanskrit, pali(buddhism esp) or regional languages like old tamil. The community and culture at large too isnt focused on Hindi in anyway or form and a large part of the population communicates in english, so dont worry about not knowing hindi to learn more about hinduism and related culture

Finnish - most goated language and it isn't even close.
English - so used to hearing and really neutral language in my mind
Latin - just sounds cool af and mighty
Japanese - meh but sounds kind and smooth
Swedish - couldn't think others because most languages suck ass but Swedish definitely best out of Scandi languages and sounds happy

nah you're wrong
Portuguese came from a dialect called galaico-português that was spoken along the western coast of hispania (gallician-portuguese) that originated both (portuguese, galician and also xalimego). Não, português não é galego e o galego não é português.
veyyyyron [#2]portuguese no bias that's the best language in the world and i'm not even brazilian

In that you are right. Although I could argue that Galician still carries more weight in terms of lingüistics let's leave it at that ^^
Danny [#100]Finnish because it sounds cool
English because it’s the one i speak
Spanish because I find the swear words funny
Mandarin bc I like the way the tones sound
i agree with spanish but also think that spanish is sexy af

what i could say is that northeastern dialect of brazilian portuguese carries a lot of old portuguese and galician elements and that's why it's more understandable for us than portugal's portuguese (this one changed a lot compared to 1500's)
