So what do you actually think needs to change? Is it actually bad coaching or is it something else?
dexter000111 [#2]individual consistency and micro coordination
No roster changes
change coaching first
thauptman [#4]i dont think its coaching, maybe stellars calling. Also players just don't look like they are in top form like they were last year.
I feel like the reason they aint in top form is because of bad calling or coaching. The players are constantly in disadvantages like all 3 maps they were super heavy on playing retake and it clearly didnt work, they literally won like 1 out of 20 retakes.
for gods sake just get Mike some help the dude is solo'ing being a coach and the struggle shows. They have 2 maps that should be perma bans, there is a massive lack of structured pre round calls, and there are serious issues of nerves affecting performances in game. These are literally all things that having an assistant coach would help

prob. stellar has talked about how he prefers to not do set strats and call more freely which is what they have been doing since sgares left the team and it hasn't looked great.

yeah, the on-the-fly stuff look awful. They're too uncoordinated (forgetting to clear corners, not being aware of lurk gaps in their defense, overpushing when they're not a man down, etc.) and after this amount of time, it's clear the sgares method was better and Stellar's calling isn't good enough on its own.
SilentCypher [#14]I think Stellar and Sean Gares had a similar vision.
That being said, also to put it, Sean probably is the best coach in Valorant history, given almost every round (s) after his timeout 100T would win
Mike's just doesn't look like he's cutting it. Things look disjointed
Stellar has literally said they did not have a similar vision. sgares was more exec, set play, gameplan focused, and stellar said he was more on-the-fly. One of these worked for the team in the past and one isn't anywhere near working currently. They need to either bring in an sgares level of coaching staff or replace stellar w/ a better IGL who can also frag at least as well.
