Feels like with yay during chamber meta they had that guy. Now they really need someone to step it up to that role. Ardiis feels inconsistent and Victor or s0m might have to really step up...

Yea feels like they are the only roster without a star player, as good as they all are they all need to be at 100% to win a game, hard to win when its not someones day and you dont have a starplayer to make up for it.

its so sad too. everyone plays their role perfectly, their util is awesome, and fns + chets strats are great. its just they dont have any aim demon

Yep, the more I watch NRG, the more I think they won't be nearly as successful internationally. They just don't have the same firepower they did as last year with yay in the chamber meta. Thought ardiis could serve as workable replacement, but he's no where close.

They need more fire power. Right now they're winning base off of better strats and calls. But some rounds they get kinda aim diff.

I mean som crashes and Victor trying their best to take turn being that guy but like u can kinda tell that there are rounds where they couldn't outaim mibr atm.

NA teams are the best at playing solo, but the worst at playing as a team. That's why NA dominated in Chamber meta, cause it let your best mechanical player play alone and succeed. Now that it's a more team based meta, NA teams are set to struggle since they have terrible teamplay. C9 picked up worse players that were way better at supporting their team, that is why they are successful. C9 played a better team game today than any NA team ever has. NRG gets bailed out by Chet and FNS creating great set plays, but when it's non-set utility, they're still just a mid ass team with teamplay.

nah he is that guy, but he played Sage map1, Raze map2, KJ map3... how are you supposed to have a consistent star when all roles are inconsistent?
