Can Franchised orgs get relegated?

title, cuz some orgs will then get franchised, so will some currently franchised orgs get relegated?

Long Answer: Technically Riot can expel any franchised team f they think it's appropriate, but only once every 4 years

That being said, loosing is not gonna be and should not be a reason to be kicked out, it's not like the org is purposely throwing they actually invested into the roster they just missed and built it wrong, nothing that can't be fixed for future years

If they are consistently this bad then yes I'm sure they would be kicked. But I seriously doubt they will, if they keep trying they eventually will hit the key. At the end of the day rosters can be replaced but fanbases and stories are way harder to obtain

I think they will add relegation next year, they didnt want to add relegation in the first year the round robin format got started. Once relegation comes, the teams will get better.

No they can't, they do not own the spots like in LOL. Riot just gives them the partnership for a determined amount of time

Relegation will never come. They can't add it, they promised the orgs stability, they can't change that now

It's still possible to terminate the partnership but it has to be for something extremely bad or the fact the org goes bankrupt

roasters will likely change fairly regularly, i can't see many of the teams that don't make it to Tokyo staying together for next year
