I swear that when you look at EMEA's top teams and players, it's always French, Spaniards, Swedes, Russians, Ukrainians, Turks, and even Brits sometimes.
Is Valorant not as popular in Germany?
Domination [#2]Yes, as a German, I can confirm that Valorant is not popular here 🗿
"as a German" he says as he writes it from his mom's basement from Kolkata

You are obsessed with me, are you a moai fan 🗿
Germany have some good players but never enough to make a top team.
Upset in League as an example.
Germany does have pretty good grassroots and interest in esports.
Fokus is the biggest german org in valorant, though the roster isnt german anymore. But kuba their 6th man gets good viewership as a streamer.
There is a decent german rocket league team , a decent german csgo team but none of these rosters are world beaters
Domination [#4]You are obsessed with me, are you a moai fan 🗿
Nah I just wanna put a shit hater in his place
BayArea [#6]Is Germany big in any esport?
Yes the team BIG (Berlin international Gaming) is popular in csgo
BayArea [#6]Is Germany big in any esport?
They have decent presence in LoL (LEC) and of course they have BIG in CSGO. But overall pretty small for country so big.
BayArea [#10]In any major esport? Like LoL, VAL, DotA, CSGO, etc?
think they are the same as us, mainly console country. People just playing cod, Fifa, rocket league with friends so pool of pc pro players is much smaller
I_am_from_the_future [#17]Im surprised there was no ww2 jokes so far
Everyone on this site is either too young to remember the edgy era of jokes or old enough to be tired sick of WW2 jokes

Isn't Vitality LoL Botlane German and they had a extremely strong start in current season?
yuzukaze [#27]Isn't Vitality LoL Botlane German and they had a extremely strong start in current season?
2 Germans on Vitality actually, and BrokenBlade went to Worlds with G2 last year and just won the first split
Mortadelo [#28]2 Germans on Vitality actually, and BrokenBlade went to Worlds with G2 last year and just won the first split
I actually meant both upset and Kaiser with "German Botlane"
Also SK having German Toplane + Midland and them having a decent split is also something to note
complx_11 [#24]Happy Germans aren't wasting their time going pro in VALORANT, someone in this world has to advance human technology and knowledge, big props to all German engineers mathematicians and scientists.
Largest economy in Europe, results speak for themselves 🇩🇪
aren't they bulldozing their countryside for coal because they ran out of russian gas? xdxd

Yeah there is a pretty good German representation on LEC

Warlordwibz [#33]isn't G2 suppose to be a German org?
G2 is a European org I don't think they really belong to any country. But yeah the org is currently Berlin based
nutab1e [#31]aren't they bulldozing their countryside for coal because they ran out of russian gas? xdxd
I did not praise German politicians
Mortadelo [#35]G2 is a European org I don't think they really belong to any country. But yeah the org is currently Berlin based
they are founded and based in berlin but just because his founder is spanish they have spanish fans right?
Hewcho [#38]they are founded and based in berlin but just because his founder is spanish they have spanish fans right?
G2 was founded in Spain just like MAD Lions. Later they both got bought/ moved out to different countries, so no, both were originally Spanish orgs.
But my point is do Germans really feel identified with G2 more than other Europeans? Like does G2 make German content specifically? Idk but I feel like G2 it's more border free

if BİG was partner maybe we could see some germans
Hewcho [#40]if BİG was partner maybe we could see some germans
I do not think there is enough talent to make competitive roster. There is a few players who would be good enough for some low teams but not if you put them all together.
But yeah BIG or Fokus should have probably gotten a slot

MOUZ Is also german
Zytruxs [#44]MOUZ Is also german
Yes but if talking about CSGO they only have 1 German player and if Valorant then of course since they play in DACH league but aren't considered top tier 2 team.

p1lot [#53]respect Mixwell the rising spanish young talent
Father of valorant, but suck at valorant too
yuzukaze [#29]It's funny to have the EMEA league in Germany but not one German player in it
Don't feel left out. You can bet Masters Tokyo is gonna be the same regarding Japanese players.
