Mortadelo [#6]
no way. college valorant...? thought he was some t2 dude i just didnt know, but that is... Certified Clown Org
vetements [#8]no way they let tier 3 players play in the league
surely they would have asked any t2 players right?
ax0788 [#10]looking like the worst of the franchise rn... maybe 8-9 place too.
they went from being a superteam to being on mibr or eg level
HavocWEEB [#14]did u even click the link to his vlr? he has quite a bit of t2 experience
NSIC and Team Reckaroo are still not great as far as experience goes
HavocWEEB [#16]these players must have played well in scrims vs other franchise teams or challengers teams or they wouldnt get picked up
why do ppl think they wont hang
I’m sure they performed great in scrims but a jump from collegiate to franchised gotta be rough in the mental
HavocWEEB [#16]these players must have played well in scrims vs other franchise teams or challengers teams or they wouldnt get picked up

scrims wont translate to match day.. even if these guys are half decent - i bet their hands will be shaking against NRG, LOUD on LAN..
Liem [#12]they went from being a superteam to being on mibr or eg level
They never were a super team lmao
thefaz31 [#15]NSIC and Team Reckaroo are still not great as far as experience goes
nsic players and coaches have been signed to soar, bbg acad, nyfu/abx, v1, kcp, dig, geng, mxm, luminosity, imt, rise, col, tsm acad, knights, oxg, eunited, sr, t1 acad, dz
reckaroo players and coaches have been signed to c9 acad, ssg, or, the guard, knights acad
how many more signed pro players have to go through those teams until u would count is at great experience?
playing with that many pros/coaches that have that much experience or have gone on to get signed after playing for reckaroo/nsic is probably some of the best t2 experience u can get
kskm [#18]scrims wont translate to match day.. even if these guys are half decent - i bet their hands will be shaking against NRG, LOUD on LAN..
that is a factor entirely decided by the players. it's all a big ?, we can only hope.
Ailed [#17]I’m sure they performed great in scrims but a jump from collegiate to franchised gotta be rough in the mental
jakee has lots of t2 exp not just collegiate
HavocWEEB [#22]nsic players and coaches have been signed to soar, bbg acad, nyfu/abx, v1, kcp, dig, geng, mxm, luminosity, imt, rise, col, tsm acad, knights, oxg, eunited, sr, t1 acad, dz

When you think about tier 2 players, does he come to mind?
kskm [#18]scrims wont translate to match day.. even if these guys are half decent - i bet their hands will be shaking against NRG, LOUD on LAN..
i mean its the same guns they use in scrims that they use in the match i dont think it will affect em that much
and if ur talking mental side of things jakee was able to handle his mental when trialing for c9 to be signed to his first org surely he can handle his mental decently enough to not shit the bucket in every match
Mortadelo [#26]When you think about tier 2 players, does he come to mind?
nah hes in franchise league hes technically tier 1 now
HavocWEEB [#29]nah hes in franchise league hes technically tier 1 now
I meant if he did come to mind before they picked him up? No right?
If he doesn't come to mind when thinking about tier 2 players it can be because of 2 reasons:
I think #22 kinda proves is not the first case...
Mortadelo [#30]I meant if he did come to mind before they picked him up? No right?
If he doesn't come to mind when thinking about tier 2 players it can be because of 2 reasons:
- He is new to the scene and is still growing on a progressive curve
- He is nothing special in tier 2
I think #22 kinda proves is not the first case...
if hes nothing special in tier 2 then tier 1 teams wouldnt give him a trial??????
u not watching na tier 2 doenst mean other ppl dont know abt him
HavocWEEB [#31]if hes nothing special in tier 2 then tier 1 teams wouldnt give him a trial??????

He went from playing tier 2 to downgrading to college Valorant... But if you wanna tell me he was a top tier 2 player then sure, ig I'll have to watch more NA tier 2
What I actually think is that C9 is so fucking broke that they can't afford to pay a single buyout so tier 2 is not an option since they're all signed

i think jakee is going to be 6th man, qpert would probably be on the starting roster. Id be more worried about runi.. the guy who lost to OREsports as an IGL in NA t2 LCQ (OREsports is 0-4 in Challengers btw) -- is he going to compete against the likes of FNS, Saadhak etc? Also i think match day experience beats talent on most days. runi has absolutely no credentials to be franchised and playing as an IGL leading the likes of zellsis, xeppaa, leaf on stage. I would love to be proven wrong though, cause who doesnt like an underrated winner

he didnt switch to college val he played both collegiate and tier 2 at the same time before signing with c9

tbh it looks real fucking bad for c9 just gotta hope mce has another trent situation with jakee but yea other then that not looking good whatsoever.
HavocWEEB [#14]did u even click the link to his vlr? he has quite a bit of t2 experience
no, i didnt look at his vlr page. thats why i said "college valorant..?".
fr tho, u need to understand that no one really knows this guy. not tryna take anything away from him, but this dude is now 1 of about 30, NA T1 pros. look at NA Challengers - these teams are stacked with talent, yet "stuck" in T2.
honestly its not even his fault, i'd also sign to C9 in an instant - its c9 to blame.
the fact that hes getting picked up still stands and its absurd. thats my point.

I think C9 just can't pay a buyout rn and since all tier 2 players have one they have had to go straight to unsigned players
ZexRow [#47]jake is probably the best f/a right now if u played with him you'd understand and runis team was the only team I couldn't frag against till I got to challengers so I see the potential.
still a massive downgrade to yay and vanity

ratio
YshouldICare [#36]Imma guess. Tl wasn't a superteam aswell?
No they weren't. The only super teams were fncdrx and maybe sen

Qpert will not be on the starting lineup…

No need to defend these players. Nobody in here is blaming them. They're blaming C9 for being such a broke-ass org. This team is doomed.

pros know best indeed

😁
hekzy [#63]Come back in another month after the playoffs
lets be real, no one expected them to be better than NRG. the team is far from "doomed", even if they dont make it to tokyo
