yea the aim "skill ceiling" is lower, that's done on purpose. the point is in valorant is to have a higher utility skill ceiling than CS in creating different strategies involving combinations. its almost as if you don't actually understand the point of either game. some pros are more comfortable with heavy util based play and some are more comfortable with basic/dry more map control centered play which often involves a lot more aim.

you comparing skill in two games is like me asking who is better between a lawyer and a doctor rofl, it literally makes no sense.

I mean yeah, if pro play opportunities are open, why wouldn’t people who are struggling in CS make the move to Val. Plus the game is still relatively new, these ex-CS, ex-OW players won’t be pros once the kids who’ve put thousands of hours into only Val start trying to go pro. Another thing I failed to add here, I play in the MESL Faceit league for CSGO.

I am Faceit level 7 (i am like 10 elo away from level 8) as of right now and my peak in CSGO was Level 8.

I peaked Radiant in valorant around 4 months ago in the same Middle Eastern region. The difference I noted between the lower and upper ranks of CS and Valorant was immense, there was hardly much of a difference going up from Diamond (only more teamplay and a couple of more lineups) while in CS, the playstyles, aim, strats everything changed. (Reminder that MESL does not allow 5 stacks to queue together, only a max of 3 can play together in MESL and you get 2 randoms).

look, I don't know if you'll understand the analogy here, but here's the thing, there are people who play classic mario to this day .. and they perfected the movement to an absurd level, jump at the exact pixel and such .. it takes years to learn .. it's absurd to watch this skill madness .. and there are people who play the last Marios in the same absurd way .. except that the newest Mario is much more difficult and has much more depth .. I think the CS player is just like the old mario player... now leaving the analogy and going back to CS Vs valorant. I'm old and I think Valorant is getting more and more complex and complicated, more agents etc, and as a good cs 1.5 player I love the game, I played until I dropped my head.. new games with more functions and graphics attracted me more.. so cod was my choice, when cs go came out I simply didn't believe it, an old core with graphics that at the time were already outdated at launch. the CS that exists today is due to players who have been playing the game since the 2000 generation, it took years to reach the competitive level it is today, and valorant has just been released and in many ways it is a much better game. and it's only evolving..
