Why do people underestimate less? He was the only sentinel in the top 10 champions stats, performed very well in almost every series he played, killed 33 against optic and 27 against DRX and yet I see people putting him below many sentinels who haven't even played international championships.

the guy destroys all matches playing killjoy, cypher and viper and even so there are people who think he is not even top 20 in the world (even played chamber very well even though it is a function performed by duelists and awp players)

suygetsu and nats are completely different. Nats is a bit like less in that he definitely plays the actual role of a sentinel pretty well but hes more just a really good lurker rather than a good sentinel.
Suygetsu isnt really a good sentinel in any sense of the word. Hes good at everything he does simply because he never misses and he has cracked ass movement. Bro is an aim and clutch god, doesnt mean hes the best at the role itself.
Id still give best sentinel to Less, hes similar to players like zombs in that he does his role so well that there are no stats that can really explain how much impact he has which causes people to under estimate them. Just like zombs was, Less is a huge factor as to why his team won a major.

suygetsu is good because hes a good player. Taking him off the sentinel role wouldnt change that. Less however is actually good at the role itself. Ofc thatss not to take away from how good suygetsu is at playing sentinel its just that people rate him so highly not because of how he fills his role but because of his aim and fragging potential on a role that would typical not have much

I seen Less play he has an incredible game sense. he is the player i analyse the most in LOUD because for me he is better that all those overrated NA and EU frauds. I also think he is the best player in LOUD too.

An interesting thing that saadhak said some days ago, he believes that if he were to retire in a couple of years he’s be sure that Less would be able to pick up igling for the team just as well as him

even tho I dont like him from last years display, SUYGETSU!! Also NAtS, they are the demon sentinel players...Hazed for me is underrated sentinel player, some best in slot sentinels in NA prob STEEL and DAPR still...

but until LOCK/INN i think it's all up in the air, way too many new rosters and lineups for us to see and make any accurate predictions.

I think the reason people aren't talking abt him and wrote him off has more to do with his poor performance in Copenhagen than the fact that he is Brazilian tho

Although I do believe that some of the reason is he's not NA/EU but I think the major reason is that there's very less POV of him "popping off" so people dont have a set idea on his plays that make him great. there's less VODs of him actually try harding, like you do for many other pros in ranked. The only time he had plenty of screentime is during the finals (his cypher on breeze and chamber on haven) where he went ballistic is when people actually started rating him.

I dont know what lists you've been reading, brazil bro but, every list SINCE champions has him in top 5/10. Its a content issue from his POV, not much more imo.

for me he was the best in 2022 on viper/kj on par with suygetsu,

I did think that he could be the best LOUD player when I was watching champs, but then again - they had 5 players that all were possibly the best player on LOUD.

2022 LOUD was absolutely stacked with talent, what an incredible team
