australia making it out of groups.
dont think anyone really expected them to even get a point, yet they beat both tunisia and denmark.
Okayyyyyy [#3]It’s a pretty big upset, but not the biggest, I’d say that title goes to Morocco
and saudi arabia
Verstepping33 [#2]Not really, Australia had the odds to win against Tunisia but not Denmark
they were given a 22% chance of making it to the r16.
tunisia were favourites to win the game aswell. it wasnt too onesided in odds but they were supposed to edge it out.
lowest pot coming into the tournament
also remember how australia even qualified..
Mortadelo [#4]I mean Denmark choked so bad, so after that it was only being better than Tunis
denmark were on good form coming into it.
im confused to why they collapsed so hard

None of their strikers or wingers played well or could execute a final pass/shot. In the World Cup when defenses play a lot tighter you need that quality to score goals.
Dante3874 [#5]and saudi arabia
But Morocco will most likely manage to make it out of groups too, maybe even as 1st which is honestly not even that crazy to think about

Thats a valid point. They do have alot of interesting and creative players, on paper their only weakness is a high quality 9 but i thought their creativity would over come that.
They were looking great vs france in nations league aswell.
disappointing tournament from them.
