Why three Spanish orgs and no German representation?
Imo I feel BIG did better than all of these teams on the franchised list except Liquid and Fnatic
I mean I think even Excel might've been a better fit than one of these Spanish orgs

Canada and the US are so similar that it doesn’t really matter. Whereas Germans will want to root for a German team and Spaniards will want to root for Spanish teams. This logic doesn’t make sense
Yes and no, you can root for players or you can root for orgs, Spanish people mostly root for our orgs since that's what we have the most representation of but is not like we sign 5 Spanish players like French or Turks do, those spots are the ones actually limiting the meritocracy. Germans would have done something similar but I really agree they deserved the spot, BIG should have made it instead of Futbolist or Giants

Well spanish VLR had the best numbers among the regional leagues by far. Heretics, Giants and KOI have a lot of fans and that´s what RIOT is going for, rather than performance.
literally makes no difference, its going to be international roster for both anyways. if anything spanish orgs have a lot more fans
agreed, also Turkey should have 1 slot: instead of one decent team they get 2 mid ones
I was super worried when KC announced their regional roster early on and am somewhat relived with all the mixed squads (ignoring Turkey because I'm unsure of how well a lot of their pros speak English).
However
Excluding the Turkish teams, out of the 8 players in t2 last split, who are now joining a franchising team, 7 played in the Spanish or the French VRL last split.
0 played in another VRL league.
Don't get me wrong they're talented players, but are you telling me that there's no talented players in the other VLRs?
