AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Or Intel Core i7-12700K, Which is Better ?
- And Why ?
valulrantefanboy [#3]Intel way better both for gaming and working
Intel is most certainly not better for working... gaming, yes but even there AMD is catching up. Biggest benefit of Intel is the compatibility out of the box IMO and lack of obscure bugs from AMD's architecture.
Astral420 [#8]As of right now, Intel. But I'd rather wait for the 7000 series from AMD and based on the leaks, the 7600X looks like it can beat the 12900K but that's just an engineering sample.
When is this gonna release ?
Tanmayyy [#9]When is this gonna release ?
Around September but they're gonna announce it in August.
joaosgreva [#7]for val amd is better
but for other things(games/latency/temps) in general intel slams HARD
5800xd is cheaper and beats intel in everyway possible may it be gaming or work related, man what are you talking about latency??? what latency??? and 5800xd even consumes lower wattage.
BBL_Wtcn [#12]for gaming intel is better and for everything else AMD is better
talking out of your ass

i7 12700k is comparable to 5800x3d, and the AMD is more expensive. Intel generally performed slightly better for gaming in that video.
The real tldr: both comparable in price and performance, either one will be good

do your own research lol, it's too complicated for your brain
Fytyny [#26]Amd is better in gaming, Intel in everything else. But it is worth mentioning that this Intel consumes 50% more power. source
Thanks

I took an L in that amd being cheaper but everything else is right and amd crushes intel in 90% of the games that is with less power of course

here use this as a source because they are more trusted than "Testing Games"
these screenshots were taken from Hardware Unboxed and Gamers nexus
Tanmayyy [#20]edit:- Ryzen 7 5800X3D = (534$)
Intel Core i7-12700K = (484$)
5800X3D is different from the 5800X, and it costs more then the i7
Plus, that i7 is $350 compared to $420 5800x3d
VAL_OMEGALUL_RANT [#11]For gaming only Intel is slightly better; everything else AMD is better
That's old news , intel pulled up and smashed ryzen 5000 with alder lake
archetype [#25]helpful thread i am actually building my first pc soon and was looking to get the 5800x3d
