VCT 2022: APAC Stage 2 Challengers
Bruh
True. If mada or bdog should get into franchise, I'd expect mada deserves it first. bdog is great too, but a Chamber/Jett player. Mada flexes and does really well in every role, although I'm a big fan of his entry fragging. His Raze is easily one of the best in NA.
Bleed has lost to PRX 8 times in a row, out of 8 games.
Out of maps though (ignoring this game), PRX have won 18 maps and BLEED have won 3.
If he ranks Guild at #1 and NA won, then does that mean NA > EMEA ? Hmmmm
so.... like NA League of Legends except we didn't import people
yay is the best player itw
SR GC has been pretty dominant outside of C9W. It should be interesting to see them internationally.
I do (somewhat) agree with the society thing. My only issue is you have women who have been pros for a long time (bENITA - 7 years), meanwhile Zekken and others at 16 makes it pro in T1 scene. Her not being able to make it to T1 doesn't have to do with marginalization.
The only thing society held back was women playing games over the years, but not EVERY woman. The gender ratios in games are more male dominated to say the least, but that hasn't done anything to keep back the women who want to go pro from being able to reach T1.
ps. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with GC, but that there really isn't a good excuse someone from GC hasn't made it to the T1 scene/franchised team. I hope to see a woman/trans woman or male/non binary person eventually make it to a franchised team.
To be fair, women have NOT been kept away from the esports scene and are not being held back from joining a T1 team/franchised team. There just isn't a woman currently at the same level as the guys out there for Valorant.
There was Geguri (woman) in the Overwatch League.
There was Remilia (trans woman) in the LCS.
There was VKLiooon (woman) in the Hearthstone pro scene.
I do think trans people (women in this scene) get hate due to transphobia, but I don't think that has kept women, trans women, and non binary people out of the T1 scene. Teams want the best of the best outside of the streamer teams.
mada and zekken, yeah
asuna's raze is garbage. Dude can't even satchel in, or use his satchel's like a top raze player. Take a look at ray4c satchel movement, and only zekken and mada on that list (especially mada) have any chance of being on his level
Old Faze used to have 4 ex-Overwatch League pros + Marved
They were fun to watch for a bit, but I hate Faze as an org
Uhhhh, it's probably in his contract................. and the only place I see it is on his Twitter banner
Is he washed, or have others caught up? He was one of the OG's, so it's unsurprising that others have caught up in skill. I watched the previous season and he did fine, but yes there were plenty of other players on his skill level.
But also, no shot Carpe goes straight into Valo. Philly Fusion is owned by Comcast and they were partnered with T1 (at least their Academy team was) and transferring him to Valo T1 would be a snap of the fingers, but I don't think Carpe has been playing Valo. His past broadcasts have all been Overwatch.
The ONLY chance of him going to T1 Valo is as a 6th man (still super unlikely), or as a coach/analyst.
Honestly, trash take. Autumn follows Vanity so they might as well be picking him up, right?
Patiphan is amazing and so is yay...
Cringe thread
True, if they mean entry (not initiator)
Asuna and Zekken are very close, but Zekken absolutely killed it as entry this past tournament
Cypher is fine, but it takes a lot of effort to get good at, and setting up his trips and specific cages can be a pain.
At least when you mess up Viper one ways, you can pick the orb back up as an example. Some of his trips are also very finicky.
He's streaming where the money takes him, and that's OW2. He has played Valo for so long, trying out OW again is a bit of fresh air, and his viewer count has likely risen significantly.
Orphans can have kids...
They have until February to find a real 6th if they care, but until then they are using qpert since they needed to submit a 6-man roster by now.
Going -28 on 2 maps ain't worth being a good igl. Diamond player big brain < Radiant small brain
You're talking about the dude who went -28 against DRX on only 2 maps, meanwhile only 1 other person on his team was negative (-9), and the rest went positive, meaning he single-handedly lost them the games against DRX. That guy is top 10? Worse than Stax? I don't want whatever you're smoking
100T and C9 are more popular than NRG
Otherwise, your point stands that it makes sense to get paid big in America, live there, and get more fans
I highly doubt dicey is being picked up. Who is available to do that at this point in NA besides EG?
This dude said "? > xeppaa" lmfao
Absolutely braindead, and I don't think c9 is going to be the top NA team.
Uhhh, Screwface has better FK/FD and ADR than Wardell here. Plus, Wardell only played Chamber, otherwise known as the most broken agent in the game. Take a look at map 1 to see how Screwface's Jett diff'd Wardell's Chamber.
A 6th player is a requirement so it's possible. The issue is that all of these players would rather be on any other team in the initial lineup instead of sitting on the bench as the 6th man.
Sentinels should go full degen team:
They're already the most hated team and keep zombs and sinatraa on their tit. Might as well own it.
Dapr on 100T?
Leave this site now you braindead loser
I know this, but that doesn't mean nadeshot didn't come in all hype and preach to them about how cryo and zander are available now. Time will tell.
trent to c9, you heard it here first
The "why wouldn't they" argument is simply that nadeshot has already said he regrets not signing Zander. Now he has the chance and is likely honed in on him or FNS. I don't think they're giving valyn enough of a thought.
Only way they grab valyn is if ddk/sgares step in and tell nadeshot he'd be making a bad decision by not signing valyn.
Stellar mostly played Sage, so............
Zander frags more, and sgares can make him into a top tier igl
Zander frags better than most igl's, including Dephh. I think sgares can make Zander into a much better igl, so to me it makes sense.
If they pick up a new igl, I hope it's Zander.
Let's not forget that he's the reason they brought on Kanpeki
Oh really? Didn't know that, thanks. I'm guessing EG weren't hardset on grabbing him but decided to put in a low offer in case he wanted to take it.
Exactly. NRG are one of the most likely teams to replace their full roster. Not even s0m is safe.
I do think EG love Boostio and are not as likely to replace him though. Boostio has performed relatively well, and I kinda feel as if they deem him as the face of EG Valo.
Chances he signs to NRG are much higher than Sentinels, and I'd say the same goes for EG if EG weren't dead set on Boostio
yay's chances (assuming he stays in NA): c9 >>>>>>>> NRG >>> EG = Sentinels
Ahhh ok, thanks. I know bang's case is interesting cause he's technically still on a loan, but I'd assume TSM want to cash in now. I'm surprised he can't say anything about Stellar, but that must mean he has heard something big and can't even hint at it or he'll get in trouble.
Evidence? That's ignorance. A CEO not giving any face to roster leaks is not evidence. Historically the same thing has been said and then roster changes were made. It's definitely more likely a change of some sort is made, and a CEO would be dumb not to make changes when star players are up for grabs.
The difference is the top 2 teams released all players, and TGRD which was almost the 3rd place team. Too many top players released to not make any changes.
He gave 100t an 8 and Will a 7, but I don't remember any mention of bang and stellar. I still have a screenshot of his whiteboard.
0Head Take. If (Michael Jordan, Ronaldo, Messi, etc.) becomes a free agent, you try and pick them up. They will make your team better.
Cryo to 100T, you heard it here first folks
Who am I? Definitely not a nobody who is speculating off of the fact that Nadeshot regretted not picking up Cryo when he had the chance and it's off some other information.
Cryo diff'd ardiis last time they played, even though xset lost
