valulrantefanboy [#3]x3 playerbase (at least) , x1000 countries, of course prac in EU is better
apac has the same size playerbase as eu btw
mauge67 [#4]apac has the same size playerbase as eu btw
idk about the rest of EMEA but russians breath, eat, and sleep fps
csgo has to be like top 5 activities for children in that country
mauge67 [#4]apac has the same size playerbase as eu btw
APAC is better atm no cap !! EMEA > APAC >>>>>>>> others
sheahhhh [#5]idk about the rest of EMEA but russians breath, eat, and sleep fps
csgo has to be like top 5 activities for children in that country
not valorant,in fact i dont know a single eu country where valorant is actually popular or even relevant
Idk why y’all counting the countries.. even if there is 4 or 50 countries if the player base is the same it wont change anything. With that said, the player base in eu is way bigger and there are a lot more teams so its kinda logic. But it doesn’t do it all, prac in NA could just be better because the players or the teams are more invested/better
mauge67 [#9]not valorant,in fact i dont know a single eu country where valorant is actually popular or even relevant
I can understand base on your flag (If real). https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=%2Fg%2F11j8wvrz8z,%2Fm%2F0h3pv2z. Here show where Val is more popular than CSGO. CSGO is dominating in North-East Europe while Val is more popular in West South Europe ( Spain , France, UK ,etc) and Turkey also :)

Portugal is the resistance.
I'm disappointed in Spain tbh, they have a good CS team in Movistar riders and no interest apparently.
mauge67 [#6]what that literally makes no sense
if u dont have the iq to compute more people=more talent than idk what to say

true i didnt account for spain, turkey and france those actually have a scene, valorant is a casual game compared to cs so i can believe it gets more searched in some western countries

if it was only about playerbase why is apac not as good
Daniveus [#13]Portugal is the resistance.

CS never been big in Spain. Mixwell was most popular Spanish CS player back then (Optic CS team) but look how much he has growth (twich viewership/twitter/his brand) with Valorant. Movistar Riders did hell of run lately but only like 10k peaked viewership in ESL_Spanish channel (which same as Mixwell regular stream(
mauge67 [#16]if it was only about playerbase why is apac not as good
The players, the teams aren’t as good
sheahhhh [#14]if u dont have the iq to compute more people=more talent than idk what to say
more countries != more people ????
yungbasel [#18]It's not just about player base.
And where are you guys getting player base stats from anyway? Because riot sure doesn't publish those numbers. 3x Larger population does NOT equal 3x larger player base. Lots of other factors affect this.
They publish rank distribution and leaderboard, you can use math.
mauge67 [#6]what that literally makes no sense
I think he means that every country has their own language so the 5 best players from each country are more likely to team up in EU than in NA since Canada/America share languages so the best team possible never happens in NA
EU_quiet [#23]I think he means that every country has their own language so the 5 best players from each country are more likely to team up in EU than in NA since Canada/America share languages so the best team possible never happens in NA
that makes even less sense lmaoo what is this na copium

Link pls, never seen that before
sheahhhh [#5]idk about the rest of EMEA but russians breath, eat, and sleep fps
csgo has to be like top 5 activities for children in that country
In small cities for entertaining you can drunk bear/vodka or play video games (maybe also some sports game, but then you can't mix drinking with playing)
It's about cheap entertaining
sheahhhh [#2]bro emea has multiple countries no shit
bruh moment reported
NA as a country almost covers 70% of EU
sheahhhh [#14]if u dont have the iq to compute more people=more talent than idk what to say
by that logic, india and china should be dominating

You need to remember that Google "trends" don't show everything though. Valorant as newer game and as game that is getting constant updates is obviously going to get more Google Searches than 10 year old game with little updates. That doesn't mean that the interest or split between playerbase are similar percentages. For example I don't even remember when I have googled "CSGO" last time when I can just open Steam and CSGO from there. No reason to google it.

dont really think that valorant is more popular on turkey
mauge67 [#26]that makes even less sense lmaoo what is this na copium
I mean think about it, nobody is beating:
Leaf
Vanity
Xeppa
Yay
Marved
Definitely not Shao and Zyppan
EU_quiet [#23]I think he means that every country has their own language so the 5 best players from each country are more likely to team up in EU than in NA since Canada/America share languages so the best team possible never happens in NA
this is literally not at all what happens, take a look at emea rosters and see how many nationalities are represented in just a few teams. its completely normal for all 5 players to be from different countries.
EU_quiet [#34]I mean think about it, nobody is beating:

suygetsu solos that shit roster
sank3tsu [#33]dont really think that valorant is more popular on turkey
ask some Turkish players and they will answer you
Daniveus [#13]Portugal is the resistance.

So sad that MRS is shining now that the competitive scene in Spain is pretty much dead, no league or anything anymore. Game in general still strong, just not competitive idk why
mauge67 [#16]if it was only about playerbase why is apac not as good
Not as big of an infrastructure, same for LATAM
Dr_DoofenshmirtZ [#31]by that logic, india and china should be dominating
They have more population but no more players, that's the difference
Daniveus [#13]Portugal is the resistance.
I'm disappointed in Spain tbh, they have a good CS team in Movistar riders and no interest apparently.
That's because PORTUGALCYKABLYAT
You're a honorary eastern european country, just physically located in the wrong place
Dr_DoofenshmirtZ [#31]by that logic, india and china should be dominating
lmao those regions dont care about valo buddy

yeah! using something like the YouTube search option makes a lot more sense because people consume content for both games regardless of updates. Or, using a search term like "valorant masters" vs "csgo major" or "IEM", because people search those up for dates / tickets / scores.
the youtube search more or less reveals the same thing, though. (more east in Europe = more CS) https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?gprop=youtube&q=%2Fg%2F11j8wvrz8z,%2Fm%2F0h3pv2z
