Did paper rex make it in franchising?
zeleus [#2]would be ridiculous and a shame if they dont
No, it wont. If the team doesn’t have a proper development plan and the necessary financials they won’t make it. At the end of the day PRX is a bedroom org so i doubt they’ll make it. You idiots need to understand the strenght of the roster doesn’t matter when it comes to franchising.

"bedroom org" for funds we will talk after they win masters Copenhagen

Will that ensure they survive for four years until the next assessment for new franchising teams?

Exactly, literally if half of the roster retired next year and they get into franchising then what? PRC doesn’t have the power other orgs have, 4 years it’s a lot of time
R3LOAD [#7]not sure about PAPER REX, but the prx players will eventually move out of APAC region
like fOrsaken to NA? mindfreak to BR(coz he told he had rejected an offer from br team), not sure about benkai and davai, jingg gonna go for military services

I remember in a recent interview mindfreak said he will not go anywhere unless it's with the other four members (I might be wrong but he also said even with millions on the table). As for f0rsaken, there is a high chance that he will join a team with his brother (xcccurate).
Gambit234 [#5]It would be really hard for PRX to get franchising. Especially since they only field one team (valorant). The org is also very small (I mean i'm pretty sure their total employees are less than 20). Even though they win masters, it would still be very difficult for them to get franchising.
I don’t really think Riot cares too much about orgs that have teams outside the franchised game. Ofcourse they’ll prefer big name orgs rather than new ones, however i think that with enough funding i think that PRX might go through, especially with YouC1000 as a sponsor.

Is this something to show off? They don't have a proper BootCamp.
They have just borrowed a small room in a PC store which sponsors them and they utilize all their facilities.
You should maybe compare PRX BootCamp with other orgs like Bleed. They literally have a mansion.
Heck even Indian orgs like GE, VLT, Enigma and OGT have proper bootcamps.

youc1000 isn't that big compared to other org sponsors. imo it's better if bleed and prx merge since prx got the talent and bleed got the money.
TMosura [#6]Will that ensure they survive for four years until the next assessment for new franchising teams?
wait did they already confirm that there's a new assessment in four years? didn't hear anything about that till now

queueK [#22]wait did they already confirm that there's a new assessment in four years? didn't hear anything about that till now
Pretty sure one of the rumors I've heard there'll be a cycle of assessment, last I know was four years

The owner has a net worth of 1B USD and also Kevin Aluwi, co founder of Gojek ( probably the biggest unicorn in SEA after Razer and Grab) has said something about PRX being a grandfinalist. If someone that influential is tweeting about it, there is probably more sponsor coming their way, idk would like a SoftBank investment ngl

Yea even GE rents out Bleeds bootcamp
Zorontom [#28]Yea even GE rents out Bleeds bootcamp
When did that happen? They just visited Bleed for a while/they rented their PCs for the first time they went to SG.
The second time they went to Singapore they rented out a space in Reality Rift.

I remember GE owns a Penthouse in Mumbai which is actually pretty big. They also have good ties in the esports scene as a whole due to their esports history.
Ullyr [#26]Guys you better buy PRX merchandise soon. Sad reality of the team , I hope they all continue next year maybe with a different org.
Ye, that's what I believe, if they can't be franchised next year someone is gonna buy this 5 imo

I meant that they are quite the entertainers on stage, so it would be really really sad to not abe able to watch them on the LAN tourneys
