two people stuck with thinking this is the same game as cs, and cant acknowledge the fact that this is a new game, it doesnt need to be similar to cs . and the only thing optic does that makes it look like cs is there discipline. that doesnt mean they play it like cs. they play it like how val should be played, whereas other teams are just not there yet.
that definitely explains why optic has been dominating NA when they are the most co ordinated team in our region. sure, val isn't cs. but it is still a tac shooter, just like cs. saying val doesn't take any skill is braindead, but to say it takes more skill than cs or even equal to it is also braindead. most teams don't play val like a tac shooter, they have a point but they are exaggerating idk for what reason.
btw, LOUD plays val how it should be played, not optic
Sacy said on podcast that league influenced alot on how val works with drafts for him and for his team,and these lazy ass ex csgo pros saying this game doenst take skill is so fucking stupid, you just hear this things coming from the mouth of pros who already is not relevent in the pro scene anymore like wardell and floppy
exactly, he is looking for a game like csgo 2 but this isnt it. this is valorant, its own game ,and doesnt need to do what cs does. stewie is so hard stuck thinking he can do what he used to do in cs and get to top. its not inconsistent, its about keeping up with the meta. and it looks like stew cant accept that fact
this is what happens when you look at one region and formulate your opinion. optic is the best team in region, and others are just behind that means the region is mostly shit. emea is different especially when looking at playoffs every playoff team looked so good. also just coz it has mroe to do with abilities , and every ex cs pro thinks that everyone is braindead. they have that old cs mentality. and how does wardell stand any ground here calling other teams brain dead. when tsm literally were best only when the game was more like cs all about aim and less about strategy. he is one of those brain dead players or a part of brain dead team who couldnt move on from cs and thus were stuck being a tier 2 team
Wardell has also mostly lost to every team in Valorant since 2021 and has hardly ever been in a challengers let alone a Valorant LAN event. Teams didn't have structure when the game was new....a lot teams asf rn have an amount of set plays with the abilities suited for them and I'm not saying that all of them are gods like Optic/Fnatic/Loud/FPX but they definitely don't lack structure
