This is an image of the C9 vs 100T match in Amer stage one 2024 (As an example)
On the 100T side you can clearly see that boostio is positioned in the middle on the UI, while on the c9 side oxy is in the middle.
90 percent of the teams have their IGLs listed in the middle, except for teams like c9 (not anymore since mitch is added) and trace (You could argue that they have a co IGL system) and etc.
So is there and pattern for this or is it just random

because oxy is the only player that matters for and with c9

The UI lists how the players are seated
Boostio sits in the middle so he is in the middle of the UI
Oxy sits in the middle so he is in the middle of the UI

What #3 said plus igls tend to sit in the middle so they show up there

oxy is just that guy

correct me if im wrong but igls used to sit in the middle in cs tourneys when the team's screens would be side by side so they could see each players screen. it was a tradition carried over to valorant
