i think mel Could be on a top 15 team alone, she is an insane player but i understand her staying on c9w. its hard to say they are a top 15 team currently but they are definitely on their way, only improvement from here on! def top 30-maybe 20 imo

timeout & ff button right next to eachother, player says "lets take a timeout" and simply misclicks, teammates wont second guess and immediately click f5 (only 4 players need to). Just a mistake on Guild Xs part, no need to point fingers
imo id argue chet has authority over optic, he seems like a good respected coach
yeahh.... hopefully this one sticks around lol
certain player(s) not performing well and had a rough run & schedule last challengers. hopefully all things go right this time ^_^
if it makes you feel better jamppi said on stream the other day link is igling now
Scream made most calls at masters but jamppi said on stream the other day that Link is igling now
fnc coach said he was only signed to sub in for pracs and shit which is strange but ig thats why he never played
can be considered dehumanising because female refers to sex and genitalia and is usually used in reference to animals whilst woman is simply just the gender of a person
i think hes a very good igl but yeah, he can falter when needed
I think guild has a better chance this qualifier now they've been together as a team a lot longer, hopefully they can figure out what their problems were last qual because so many people had them high on their tierlists and down for qualifying
obviously they arent c9b, but they have the c9 name which brings them viewers no matter what. not the same amount as the male roster but still a hefty amount, undeniably more than what LG and Ghost are pulling currently (~500). and more people want to see if they can cause an upset because this is the furthest they've gotten (ever, or in a while) so theres more suspense than other games, even if they wouldnt do so well
C9 is a bigger org than ghost an LG so more people know about C9W and most people want to see how a female team fairs against t2/t1 teams
mel Sadge
im not talking about round differentials, im talking about how 1 sided the game looked. they game could end 20-22 but if 1 team ends all their rounds in a flawless and loses all their rounds in close 1v1s then its obviously 1 sided. not that thats what happened, just a metaphor. yeah, i said my response could be biased because obviously how i see a game would be different if im rooting for that specific team
according to the game???? watch it instead of complaining on forums that im mis using a word damn
felt as in looked...
no? gambit threw a lot of rounds in the earlier maps but in the end NV just looked a lot more lost, especially on the last map. nothing wrong with that though theyre still a great team i mean they just won a masters lol
the last 2 maps felt pretty 1 sided, regardless of the score line. its the most dominant GF at a major event, maybe im biased though
simply put Sentinels since they didnt drop a single map, let alone a series but i guess you can also take into consideration how close games were? especially the grand finals, although it was a 3-0 all the maps against Fnatic were super close but Gambit completely wiped NV/Optic + gambit first international 13-0. both dominant in their own ways imo
GMB 1-2 100T masters berlin (specifically the icebox game, that 3v1 by yellow ;__;)
KRU 1-2 GMB champs (was rooting for gmb anyways but was such a devastating matchup with final map OT)
GMB 2-3 ACE champs (self-explanatory)
skye has already been nerfed like 3 times because of her flashes, i think shes fine as an initiator right now. kayo's flashes are just busted & pheonix is dogshit + needs complete rework
its because of conflict of interest, there is little to no chance of female & male rosters sharing players but theres many cases of players from main rosters going down to academy rosters and vice versa, it 'ruins' competitive integrity in a way female rosters cant. also Riot wants to give female players more chances to succeed in the scene, and if it wasnt for this rule 99% of female rosters under orgs would not be able to play in the main circuit and wouldnt develop very well
i dont think its impossible though, especially with new news of Riot implenting franchise league next year a lot of teams will have to relocate anyways because of weekly events. pretty likely that they'll get bought by an EU team imo
theyre signing alfajer and fearoth apparently, bonecold is going to vitality and kiles is going to giants
yeah they do, they play through ro32 in opens
W take, people constantly shit on him but Gambit have been a team together for so long that its obvious they have something working out for them. you only have to watch a few of their matches to see he entries and makes space for them as his main job, he isnt there to sit back and kill people. not to mention his 4 other teammates are all insane players and as long as he can make space on site for them they usually convert the round win even if its a 4v5. hes also a demon on LAN, really hope they qualify this masters just to show theyre still strong
super unlikely but theres always the 1% chance, when watchpartying masters he did say a few times it made him miss playing pro lol
but surely then if an NA team wins masters 2 they secure an extra spot for another NA team, which would be OpTic?
true, theyve been known as scrimbit for as long as i can remember. as time goes on theyre only gonna get stronger imo - especially with their mental. they still have a lot of potential
yeah kinda, 4 of them were 19 at masters berlin. 2 of them 20 and 2 of them 19 at champs, super young team
they dont currently have a direct slot (probably due to it being a smaller region?) they play through APAC qualifiers now i believe though
super true, soulcas can play amazingly when given the chance to perform. (e.g: playing skye, one of his best agents imo) he looks uncomfortable to certain agents and doesnt always have confidence in his playstyle. hope they can figure out their agent comps and come back stronger because as a team they have so many skillfull players
NA: c9 + nrg
EMEA: gmb/m3c + liquid + fpx
APAC: xerxia
KR: DRX but would be nice to see ONS
JP: ZETA
BR: LOUD + VK
LATAM: KRU mostly but would like to see Leviatan
they probably believe team chemistry is more important than theyll individual skill, theyve been a team for quite a while now (-nivera joining late last year, but hes also screams brother which makes it easier). soulcas isnt a horrible player, he just never seems confident in his plays
doubt theyll drop anyone any time soon, theyre really big on staying together as a team and a lot of them have mentioned they wouldnt have even made roster changes even if they couldnt of gone to reykjavik.
would actually be so stoked for this. was cheering for them through qualifiers, i hope they can make a deeper run this time
easily best thing ive read on this website, super informative and has me even more excited for the next stage!!!
this is kind of an irrelevant record, at masters berlin Gambit faced 4 different regions and defeated all 4 (or 3? lost to 100t but beat NV/Optic) at masters berlin, going on to win the event (2nd and 3rd NA, 2nd JP, 1st KR, 4th EMEA) whilst Acend faced still only 3 regions also at champions and beat all 3 and won the event. (2nd BR, 1st and 2nd SEA, 1st and 4th EMEA). Sentinels also only faced 3 regions at masters Reykjavik and also played the least amount of games possible but dropped no maps and won the event (1st BR, 2nd EMEA twice, 1st KR). all 3 of these tournaments had single elim playoffs and ACE had a clean group run, playing the least amount of teams/regions possible (no groups at masters 2 R), at the last masters Optic played the most amount of games in their group stage (although only playing 2/3 regions) and played an extra region due to falling to the lower bracket. all the previous other teams had cleaner runs which resulted them in playing less teams, winning against a larger number of regions doesnt mean anything, it just means you had to play more games because of more mess ups along the way. its still an achievement but for the wrong reason imo.
I mean its to reward a team for qualifying for GF through upper finals, makes perfect sense imo.
im rooting for Loud but its a proven fact that rematches end in different results. good luck to Loud though!
Navi has already entered val though?
d3ffo but also nats i guess
pros are already staying up until 11-2am though? this is why these match times are so stupid, event is set in europe yet its still going on until 2am CET (sometimes even later) when theres more than 1 match in a day. times are only good for NA imo
€3 they win
maybe im biased but FPX was the best team in EMEA, had a good run through groups and absolutely stomped their way through playoffs - them not attending was incredibly unfortunate. theres a lot of arguments to say Gambit and Acend (alongside a few other teams) got """nerfed""" (some reasons are bs) but its stupid to say there werent any reasons they underperformed, obviously competition is high but its easy to correlate current world events and shitty riot formatting to why either of these teams couldve "underperformed" (e.g: gambit having to play 6 bo3s in 9 days). also Asia is a massive part of valorant (and riot games in general) viewership lol, these match times are outrageous for basically anybody whos not in NA, games start in the early hours of the mornings for some countries and end at ungodly hours for others.
