"I saw it in a dream"
That guy is so funny, he finds the worst NA matches and uses them as reasoning on why NA is shit. He trashes every region except EMEA. Look at the Guard vid where he's simultaneously bashing them for losing to PRX and calling PRX shit.
Bruh wdym budget they’re both incredible players in their own right
They’re definitely NOT gonna be surpassed quickly but I agree they need better scrim partners.
Really interesting. I didn’t know much about any team other than the top 3 so this helps. Thanks dude!
What are you talking about. There's obviously players that are more consistently better than others in Valorant (look at Yay for example). The real reason no one emerges as a CLEAR best like S1mple is because the game's only been out for two years. Give it time to develop the scene more, and I guarantee players so cracked that they're obviously the best in the world will emerge one day.
OG over C9 but otherwise agree
I think XSET will be second or third but not 4th in groups. They’ll be 4th overall tho, that’s their curse.
How is nats in Berlin not here?
Can any of them even begin to complete with Zeta division tho?
If you watch their games they played so much worse this qual than last.
TGRD beats XSET pretty consistently
For sick, yes, for Mitch, no. Leaf is just too good.
They will beat everyone except the teams that qualify. They’re missing that spark that’d get them over the finish line.
Hey get a load of this! Dis dude doesn't understand people can improve over time! And that Valorant is a different game!
Good name, not much else tho
Not everyone is good under pressure the first time, that's not unusual. Aspas was one of the minority who WAS really good on LAN from the get go, and I'm a fan of him too. My point is Trent still has a long career ahead of him as opposed to if he was a lot older. That gives him more time to stop being nervous on LAN.
Thank you Mr. Mjtchell. I greatly appreciate it, and I wish you and your family great prosperity in the following years.
Brah you're hating on a 17 year old. I'm sure he'll prove himself on LAN in time.
Yeah before Trent got picked up. We'll just have to see how every team does in closed!
3 tbh, I don't think XSET count as t1
If there's 6 teams and you're one of them, you only play 5 other teams. Genius ik.
SECONDED ONLY BRIM IS THICKER
Oh cool thank you! I can't wait to see M3C and FPX play again; two of my favorite teams.
Where are you guys getting the groups?
That's literally my point. The only firmly tier 1 NA teams rn are Optic, C9, TGRD. I expect 100T to join them before the end of the qualifier and Faze has a decent chance of making it too.
Congrats on hypothetically beating T2-3 NA teams ig?
Also out of those that I listed, Marved is the best by such a large margin. I think he proved that in the semis and finals at masters earlier this year.
Vanity is a fantastic IGL but in terms of fragging (which is what I think of when we say cracked) he's not the best by a long shot, even tho he has his moments.
Yeah I can only think of Skuba, Marved, Valyn, and Zander as contenders in NA rn. That's so few compared to the massive number of duelists (yay, saya, cryo, tenz, ban, babybay, seven, etc).
I think Faze might be able to beat XSET if they have truely insane individual performances from Babybay and Dicey
I give Akrew a 65% chance to win here.
I agree with this. The biggest differnce in Sen between this qual and last (where they looked somewhat better than now) is Shaz's underfragging and abysmal utility. I don't know if he let the hate get to him, but he was genuinely a fantastic player all last year including at champs, and he looked pretty good individually last qualifier as well. This tournament he's been so much worse. I don't think Dapr is underperforming either, he's always putting up consistent performances. Overall I'd say neither of those individual things would matter if they had a game plan, good strats, cool set plays, and good coordination. However, they have none of that. I'd honestly take Akrew 65% of the time in this rematch.
I almost want to make Xset in their own tier, below C9 and Guard, but above the rest.
The difference between their form last stage and now is ridiculous. They had a truely spectacular fall off.
Because I’m fucked in the head idk what to tell you
You're absolutely right; I recommend never reading the forums part again. My mental health was at an all time high when I went on break and I'm not a player who has to deal with a ridiculous amount of shit.
