what teams through to shanghai? I'm honestly expecting it to be the 3 omega teams lol
we may be cooked
None
Wasnt an active anti-vaxxer or anything, just missed the day they were giving em in school and couldnt be bothered to go out of my way to get one lol
i hold the opinion that superteams are signed not developed
i dont feel like a team can become a super team without roster changes
i think the only true super teams we've had in valorant are 2024 NRG, franchising FNATIC, maybe 2023 sentinels at a push
i would not watch evangelion with my parents ngl
im a sen hater but hating the players is a lil silly ngl
all 5 mfs on that roster are super likable
don't think so
generally discouraged in academic writing, for example, indeed because contractions sound less formal
...yeah people find reasons to call every single tournament a fluke
i think the only tournament i dont REALLY remember hearing that about (maybe i was just less active) was Loud's champs win
definitely not in esports terms
...or for that matter general country terms
uhh i'd say there's like 3 main reasons
1) yeah, CS is just a bigger game, and most the people who are passionate about tac fps play it instead of val
2) talent distribution, there's so many teams who are like... in and around the top regionally, but so far they've just done ass internationally, right now any 3 of FNATIC, VIT, NAVI, Karmine Corp, TH, FUT can qualify, and i don't think it's a gimme for literally any of them
3) igl and coaching, self explanatory enough i think
i'm honestly really happy polvi finally had a good game, i started feeling bad for him
up from here i hope for their sake, i like their players
not reading allat
2022 vitality frfr...
11-1 and 11-2 comeback in the same tournament
i mean just not watching or going on vlr if there's no interesting matches on is an option...
on one hand yes, giants have looked like ass this year
on the other hand, they made champs last year, and they've played 4 matches this year against FUT, FNATIC, KC (x2) and they've taken a map 3 out of 4 times
Never thought i'd say with a straight face that rhyme is a better IGL than redgar
I miss rhyme.
rereading yeah fair enough
was too eepy to read tone from text
why would his step mother being chinese qualify him as not an import i dont get it
biological mother sure, but step-mom?
patitek was not the problem today by any means
how has bro still just got a completely straight face after THAT FUCKING 1V5
he's still listed as a starter on VLR, why is he still not playing
has he just been dropped or replaced or is it medical issues or something of that sort
...they still beat the fnatic you said were top 2 though?
unironically think a 0-6 team might reach playoffs from Pacific
nah i loved watching DFM
yeah dude they lost a hard fuckin group in kickoff and people started acting like they were some bums lmfao
g fucking g
I mean yeah but i think pulling players out of T2 they just can't be considered 'superstar' players immediately to contribute towards superteam status
sayf and nats are the only ones who'd fit that, jamppi is just a bit mid, marteen a t1 rookie, and vanity... Vanity.
never comment on emea regional play ever again
i mean i dont think we ever argued against it? for what its worth teams like Falcons always were and are EMEA teams, the regions are simply not developed enough (valorant-wise) to regularly be discussed lol
ah cool, ngl got worried he got dropped and i jus never found out lol
coaching staff diff tbh
yeah i dont see them being bad enough to not reach intls but i dont think they'll dominate internationally as things stand
in terms of being equal i really dont think you'll be able to
I imagine the closest to equality you'd get is like... Sydney, but that would fall under unplayable I imagine
ultimately there's sadly not a server in the middle of the Atlantic, so there's gonna be a bias towards either side
If you had like... West Coast players and EU players you'd be fine but yea
I feel like in the short term they at the very least should've let CN have 2 import slots per team for like... a year or 2
would it have made the region substantially better? no lol
Do I think the region would atleast be slightly better? yeah, better competition internally would hopefully make even the top teams slightly better
Atleast a team like JDG would look pretty good, Kr1stal maybe coulda got a T1 CN offer (bros just guessing with this one) plus... uhh yeah not much more
i dont fully disagree but how exactly do you propose China would've been introduced into the pro scene a year late without their own league?
Since it seems they have that 6 man roster thing going on due to circumstance, do they have a T2 team for the sub at the time to play in (if possible) or something
would suck to see Pati rot on the bench after reaching a masters :d
