Honestly, the players and fans should be feeling really good. They either get out of groups and surprise everybody or they lose while not being expected to win. There's no real pressure on them in terms of expectations.

I really like the idea of the elderflame skins, but I find them to be far too distracting in game (minus the melee). I think if we were to see a new elderflame skin, I'd like it to be a melee in a gauntlet style with a baby dragon on top that moves around. This would look similar to the gauntlet from Gorod Krovi if any of you play BO3 zombies.

They keep playing double sentinels but they're trying to change their style of play and its just not working. When they were at their peak, their retakes were what made them stand out. They were so fucking good at retakes and efficient. With the deadlock and cypher lineup, you're meant to stay on site and not give it so easily. They just can't play well like that.

NRG never had a comp issue, they had role issues.

This isn't a hate boner post about SEN. I originally had SEN underdogging out of Group B but after seeing the week 1 results, it's not looking good. Put your bias as a fan or enjoyer aside.

I thought they would drop the deadlock for Champs but unfortunately no. At this point, going forward they will probably go back to their original "meta" comps after all the hate and the results but I fear that most of their tactics, strategies, and plans were built around the deadlock comps so I don't know how polished their old stuff will be.

They might beat FPX but it's going to have to be a monstrous effort to beat TH/Gen G in Lower Finals. It'd be cool to see them prevail but like I said, they are probably not up to speed with their old comps and are going to be at a heavy disadvantage.

Valid point but a terrible example. This current Gen G roster is literally all new. The only person from 2023 that is still on the team is meteor.

My bad, for some reason I remembered the G2 game being a playoff game. Regardless, they only lost one match in split 2. As for the level of competition, you can't really do anything about that. They beat the teams they had to beat. All of the other teams faced the same competition and either didn't win as convincingly or just straight-up lost. They didn't drop a map against the shittier teams. That's how round differentials and H2H work.

They won Kickoff/Madrid, had a super mid Split 1, and then went undefeated in Split 2. How is that robbing? They had a very underwhelming playoffs but SEN have had a good/above average season overall.
