This is a great response.

Nothing on this site should be taken seriously, though. It's all bullshit coming from people who're just having fun most of the time, lol.

it's crazy how big the difference is between VCT Korea's production and PPGL

maybe they don't have them? I noticed that too, it's odd.

the Neon pick didn't do so well on defence, but it was amazing on attack.

f0rsaken constantly broke crosshair placement, pulled rotates, and got tons of info.

PRX's pace on attack was insane. Didn't give PSJ any time to think

depends on the restrictions Iceland has on Russian citizens. Even if it's possible to travel, it would probably take forever to get a visa to travel to anywhere.

Should've started 3rd seeds in the lower bracket instead of giving 1st seeds an advantage. That way there's at least 2 games till qualification.

Fnatic, but it will be incredibly close.

Derke 300+ ACS, their team play, util, map control have been untouched so far.

Losing a 12-5 lead on the elimination decider map is super rough.

For non-vikings fans, though, it was insane

Onic looks super strong rn. I think they will qualify alongside XIA.

Sucks NAOS got seeded into this group, they're not bad at all.

ONS 2-1. I hope DWG don't get steamrolled again.

their post plants are still very good.

they keep losing map control in the mid-round and don't clear their path to the site cleanly leading to early deaths. I can't remember how many times they lost players early in mid and B main on Ascent.

Their executes don't look as clean as they usually do either.

fun series so far. hopefully, map 3 is a lot more neck and neck, and goes the distance

there are only 4-5 solid teams in Korea - WGS, DWG, ONS, DRX. DRX had at least a week of time to prep for WGS in the playoffs, too

Don't think that plays a big role tbh.

Guard looks like the better team and their individuals seem in better form than Sen. Based on results, it feels like a Guard 2-0 stomp.

I still hesitate to ever count Sen out though, the individual talent they have on their team is enough to simply skill diff pretty much any other NA team (with the exception of C9) on a good day.

Nukkye has been absolutely incredible lately too. He entries, he frags, and he has solid calls.

However, I think it will be difficult for G2 to qual through EMEA competition this year. Maybe, they might get through if M3C qual and have VISA issues.

Chronicle was undoubtedly top 5 throughout Champs, and definitely has a serious bid for 1st place now.

I'd place current Derke above Scream.

nAts as of late has had an upward trend from a shaky start to challengers. Still, I think he's been getting less and less impact on the role he used to play back in M3 and Champs. I wouldn't put him at first place, but out of the top 5 is still too far a drop for a player of his calibre.

TenZ is out. IMO he wasn't in the top 5 since Masters 3.

I think Crashies, Ethan, and Sick may get superceded by one or two of Trent, Penny, Ardiis, or Shao. Cryo doesn't look like top 20 material to me.

Definitely a pretty insane lack of any APAC representation in this list. Patiphan last year was top 20 AT LEAST. This year, if PRX makes it, I'm very confident in f0rsaken and Jingg making this list too.

super unfortunate. I have trust in Fnatic's scouting, though - Otom is likely a solid player too.

in the case that:

NAVI wins against FPX
LDN wins against M3C

There will be a 5 way 3-2 tie. There is once again a round difference tiebreaker - FPX and M3C should be able to qualify because they already have a ton of rounds.

The third and final team to qualify is one of either NAVI or LDN, since LIQUID is already negative.

(technically there is a world where they win all their maps 13-11 or something and thus cause LIQUID to qualify, but that seems unlikely.)

posted about 2 years ago

if NAVI win vs FPX, there is a 3 way, 3-2, tie between LIQUID, NAVI, and FPX.

The tiebreaker is rounds, and thus NAVI and FPX qualify.

(assuming, M3C win against LDN.)

banger. either way ID wins KEKW.

PRX 2-1. gotta give to to f0rsaken and jingg

FS 2-0

VLT gets less than 12 rounds. JohnOlsen and PTC are in ridiculous form right now and the teamplay from FS has been solid too.
