this is some fucking bullshit dude

it's so odd how many times this team gets involved in the ruling stuff, from the OG cam bug to the X10 stuff, and now this.

they were in the same group as Vivo Keyd too, lol.

are they just going to get flat-out DQ'd if they can't show up in time for map 2?

edit: there's no fucking way it makes sense to flat out DQ the team after not even an hour. they could literally be still playing map 1 right now. surely, at the very least, they wait for the game's potential runtime before resorting to such an extreme solution.

Cringe ass start to an otherwise gigabanger map

Boaster can finally shoot heads and play for him self, less micro managing more self care.

Boaster has always been a LAN demon, even all the way back in Iceland '21

Gambit v Fnatic finals, at Rekyjavik (if they can travel there). Fnatic win 3-2.

Derke is a crackhead already, with the LAN buff he's going to be a monster.

FS are a thai team too, I imagine they have similar issues.

I haven't either. There were 2 OTs in Sen v Fnatic @ Iceland, but that was a Bo5

crws works too, but I picked foxz because he plays more sova.

and he plays a shitload of agents, like 8 in the past 60 days so I think he'd fit into pretty much any role

what's the best team with only players playing in an Asian circuit (APAC, JP, KR)

for me, it's:

stax - initiator
f0rsaken - duelist
zunba - smokes
sushiboys - sentinel
foxz - flex

doesn't include asian players playing in NA/EMEA

it's well produced, too

remaining roles:

flex, main duelist

looks pretty likely that pwny goes into the main duelist role, and they pick up a flex player. maybe YaBoiDre? idk if he counts as a flex player, though.

I feel the same way about NagZ and d3ffo. They both feel like they're just int-ing at moments, but they play really really well at others.

I think they should still stay together until a Sentinels-esque fall from grace.

escharts will have the viewership after the tournament ends, I think.

I remember that's how it was with VCT Korea last year.

The DENS format performing better than the normal DES format in any situation was surprising.

I wonder what the results end up being if the winner is chosen completely at random, independent of their seeding and rank.

About the finals issue with double elim, it'd be interesting to see the number or percentage of times the upper finals and grand finals ended up being between different teams.

Additionally, I wonder how, or if, these results would change given an abnormal amount of teams (Iceland 2021, EMEA Challengers 1 Playoffs 2022).

This is an excellent write-up! I hope there are more of these in the future

T1 LoL are 17-0 in the spring split of the LCK. They are just 1 game from being the first LCK team to go undefeated in a split, ever.

T1 are going to win worlds '22

EDIT: They are 18-0, beating DRX 2-0 - officially undefeated.

I'm not saying he isn't playing badly right now. He is not playing well, and it's just sad comparing him to his Rekjavik '21 form.

I'm saying he's not going to be dropped from Sen in the near future so long as he's still breathing

It's crazy how different APAC teams look now compared to Challengers 1 last year.

Last year half the games looked like a clown fiesta with constant over peeking, bad or no util, and not much overarching strategy from most teams. The one thing the region always had was incredible individual talent. Now, there's a variety of fleshed-out, thought-out, and well-executed playstyles that all look polished and effective.

Everything has improved immensely, and I'm very excited for the future.
