yeah lol i tried watching an event the other day and the observer was using a stuttery potato with like 50% packet loss
they play their own region all the time except for the 2-4 series the majority of teams play on LAN every 2-3 months, compared to weekly LAN international matchups.
Northern Europe doesn't have great viewership which may be a big reason for it, and a lot of the more northeastern countries don't have big valorant playerbases
every year there's 1 new team
you get 4 fours of 2 year promotions (which are what actually grow the league), then switch to 1 year promos.
yeahhh, especially if it's a smaller org that makes it through.
the bigger orgs will at the very least have the resources to make roster changes if they perform badly
After two years, teams will return to their league to battle their way back through Challengers and Ascension tournaments.
I'm just confused about the timeline, specifically whether they be forced to take a year off.
does anyone know if this means a team could theoretically:
without any breaks?
It's always bo and ominous making these tweets that tell us literally nothing
Prx are like the sentinels of APAC and Asia
what
sushiboys needs to step up on the entry if they want to get out of groups
he was underperforming hard last masters
i think its hilarious u kids talking shit about trembolonaRAGE. u wouldnt say this shit to him at lan, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol
you don't named yourself trembolonaRAGE unless you're ripped
what's the maximum amount of homeless children that you'd beat up for a happy meal
yeah, he only did the remix thing at the opening ceremony
my favorites are rise and ignite
zedd is already a pretty big name tbf
die for you was a banger but it doesn't compare to the best league worlds songs (the two recent ones are mid though)
maybe shoot some training bots before to warm up and play dm to train a skill (crosshair placement, long range taps, etc.)
die for you dropped on November 22nd, 8 days before Champs started, so the 2022 music video will drop on August 23rd, 8 days before Champs starts this year.
hopefully they have actual players in this one now that they have some time to animate it.
there's another unrevealed tournament in the works too, since some teams are unable to attend homegrounds to play in it instead.
ding ding ding
this is his most recent post btw
Riot policy of loving everyone but Europeans
Fortunately Valve is better, Valve know where the skill belongs
make sure Noyn is right next to trembolona
fantastic fundamentals 90% of the time but 10% absolute individual inting (zmjkk is generally the culprit) that sometimes works
very mechanic-intensive playstyle that is generally utility deficient, they rely on taking 1v1 duels to get into sites often. The players are all incredible shots, so they will win a lot of these duels. on defence you'll see them push extremities and main lanes very often to force the enemy team react (and often make mistakes) or take duels which is their forte. interestingly, there's often more utility here than on their retakes or execs.
imo they feel like a Masters 3 Gambit that plays PRX-style-esque comps.
somehow relates every conversation back to CS, ukraine flag, been here for a while
zack-something
or maybe it was something-zack
eitherway he def had zack in the username
it's essentially an exclusive ranked queue only available to certain players with a cash prize as the reward for the winner(s)
Over 70% of GE’s revenue currently comes from prize winnings via tournaments that its teams compete in, while the remainder comes from content and media (2%), sponsorships (4%), merchandise sales (3%), and other interests (21%).
only 7% of their revenue from sponsorships and merch, how the fuck does this work lmfao. aren't sponsorship and merch (with VC money) usually the backbone of every org
probably meant actual population there (not really true tho since ASIA has like 3 billion or something)
each league's ranked playerbase is very similar, with all three having around --2.5-- 3 million ranked players.
i could've sworn there was an NA team that 26-0d someone way back when there were bracket based qualifiers
yeah, the EMEA circuit (incl. VRLS) is pretty much a test for franchising in the first place
Leviatan and KRU above DRX is not it
or maybe it means that they are in the league and another better roster isn't
they were on the same side of the bracket as SEN in Masters 2 Reykjavik 2021 too
either EDG wins or nobody does lmfao
i think they have a good idea of how to play the game along with solid mechanics. they have well-coordinated execs and retakes, a solid read on the meta, and decent mid-rounding. imo they're somewhat similar to xerxia, but they have a significantly better entry player (players sometimes) in Famouz and Berserx.
their biggest issue for me is probably how they often take 50/50 duels without any players to trade them, but I've seen so many teams fix that problem going into LAN for whatever reason.
also, slight variations of "common" valorant has won 4/5 international LANs so far.
potential winners: PRX, OPTIC, FPX, FNC
playoffs: LOUD, ZETA, KRU, DRX, LEV, LIQUID
dark horse: EDG, BOOM
BONUS:
crash and burn: EDG, 100T

the timing regarding this trade feels very much like an indicator that they've been selected, especially with the news about Riot encouraging GC and academy rosters. I think it definitely shows that AE haven't made the cut, too.
scream and jamppi were absolute demons this event, I hope they continue with this form into champs.
im not very widepeepoHappy because I just got slapped around in guilty gear
