pls don't choke this qual Trace π
AG's biggest weakness doesn't apply against NRG (ppl shooting back). 2 days of Ego prep no-diffs Poolchan
honestly he prolly thinks it's a better long term decision to bide his time in the region as it develops. if DRG get their shit together next season and get more international experience they could climb pretty quickly
Ambrosia is gonna farm this fraudulent bracket π
KBG struggled a bit against Kulin. While Kulin are by no means average in the mechanics department (even for China standards) they did rely heavily on hero plays that in my opinion KBG should've been able to deal with sooner. XLG 2-1
forgot it was bo5 so 3-1 XLG
Unfortunate for Kulin, good shit from KBG though. They have pretty good retake floods on icebox
9ST IS THE FUCKING GOAT WTF WAS THAT 1V4
bind was all too easy for Kulin π₯±
might be a matchfixer but fuck that guy can sure shoot his gun
with their results currently he probably will. i could see this current roster doing well next year with more time to learn and build chemistry
furia actually pretty fun atm. loud is a progressively worsening car crash. mibr's entire schtick is that they're dogshit in every metric
dimasick still kinda nice af
pretty much 100% accurate on both. Only thing I'll say though is that I think it's less firepower with AG and more their confidence. Whenever they're fired up they HIT
The thing about FPX is that they're trying to find their own original solutions to specific comp problems. Everyone was questioning triple controller until ppl realized that they play fundamentally different with it compared to every team they go against, and you can't view it under the same meta lens as everything else. We can't accurately judge how it'll go until they play a series that matters enough.
If EDG flop there are definitely going to be roster changes. I don't see a world where nobody survives on it if they bomb out.
FPX is the ONE TEAM I honestly would say you cut slack for. All the series they shouldn't have lost on paper were after they locked in the top 2 playoff seed, and they're clearly just dry running experimental comps. They very well could (and probably will) look way better during either playoffs or at Champs when they optimize their theory crafting
regardless if that's true or not it's still such a weird decision. ig the management simply didn't wanna gamble on upcoming talent and went with a 'safer' option, but whenever i watch him it feels so bland whenever he's on entry
did they HAVE to get governor instead of a tier 2 duelist from Thailand? the initial pickup seemed and still seems so odd to me
i'm surprised at how non NA-biased this is!
ppl are a product of their environment. those who grow up watching slop content will gravitate towards more slop content. There's gonna be nostalgia video essays about skibidi toilet & the new faze clan within the next 10 years π€£
he's a product of the current generation of kids who watch stuff on youtube. ppl thought the same exact thing about creators years ago. generational shifts are CRAZY
I do hope he's still on the staff because he's close to the team, but overall his relevance has more than passed now
he was really good at champs too, he really only fell off when their entire stratbook changed. If he can get the team on a page that they're truly comfortable on & run with it then they'll get a lot better
he was on stage with them last series. I do think he'll do a good job (or at least a better job than After) so hopefully they'll stick with this change
this is goated wtf
I'll be happy even if he's an assistant coach just get someone else at the helm next season PLEASE EDG
and his decision to take a break was a great move for everyone!
clash of trash
on his hands and knees begging π
they were unfortunately asleep during the start of the season. If they didn't lose against C9 they'd still have a chance after winning against MIBR. unlucky honestly
still gonna farm this sleeper bracket π
currently that is a true statement. AG look like they're outta gas
Trace and JDG clear kangkang & friends π
legit could see either of them winning & beating trace in lowers to qualify
Ambrosia is gonna farm this sleeper bracket π
you surpassed everyone's expectations this year by not being bottom feeders & actually having good strategies & ideas. Unfortunately it ends here because Trace is just you but with ppl who aren't mechanically inconsistent. TRACE MUGA
hold up Haodong might do some magic & save their champs run
I'm going to choose to believe that AG did little to no prep for this game. Hopefully they can fire on all cylinders in their opening playoffs game. The chinese team quality for champs is the best it's ever been, so it's going to be an uphill battle.
they should've seen their past games and learned something
i agree it's very troll. HOPEFULLY they get their head out of their ass with that idea
if i had to guess they're gonna build around him next year alongside abo. hopefully they get better coaching staff so the team can actually improve
they needa build around him next year. upgrade coaching staff & start drilling fundamentals to hell. qualifying to the first masters fr
It's do or die for AG. They have to grasp the reins of destiny and steer it into their lane if they want to qualify to champs. JDG are looking better than they ever have this season, seeming to have finally figured stuff out. Their catastrophic loss against Traceβwhile seeming like an off dayβcould serve to be a bad omen for things to come. Ego has the prep, Sword9 has the calls, and everyone else has the individual mechanics, but it's up to the whole team to prove to themselves and the audience that they are indeed the great team they want to be.
nevermind DRG lost to fucking wolves lol
I hate when people claim an 'off day' as the reason for a loss, but there are some inexcusable mistakes happening that AG normally don't make. Spitfires executing alone on attack side with no supportive utility or trades, a lack of aggressive utility whenever they push out on a default, and a reliance on hero plays are normally NOT what this team looks like. Bright side? Trace look GOOD at the moment. However, if AG want to take their fate into their own hands they need to lock in & not let these things slip by.
