that and comments about women. forgot to put both of that there lol

YOU got accounts banned on faceit
matchfixed before franchising
did his time for both
EDG fans got mad after a lot of them dug up the old articles & rulings
YOU stepped down after fans pressured XLG to suspend him

comparing them to zeta implies this is a fluke.

either WOL rips RRQ apart or they get beat into submission by raidboss Jemkin
feels like a game where a stomp is guaranteed to happen regardless

Team horrible really thought they'd win against Wolves with bot, minibot bendoverfishy freens and w00t

former r6 pro* (maybe a winner i can't recall)
there was a stir after he was trialing, but nothing new from what i can see has come out of it. tbf it could be confirmed by now since i haven't actually been paying attention to high profile leaks in a long while (decided I'm just gonna wait for whatever XYLITOL_WU says eventually lol)

i think hvoya, fayde, and bail are all just ahead of the curve when it comes to systems. 24k, destroyer, and After are all clearly competent and provide value.
AG are either gonna keep XiYiJi in or put someone else. the young talent they sometimes talk about still hasn't been revealed. lineup is Spitfires, deLb, K1ra, Bai, and whoever they decide to have be the 5th

i agree but their success is more that fayde hvoya and bail are all extremely well suited tbf. the systems that all of those coaches have implemented have been clearly working wonders. hvoya was COMPETING in tier 2 germany literally months before XLG picked him up 😭. literally all 3 of these org's scouting must be studied

fr back then the only thing ppl gave the whole pacific/china scrim dynamic was that they could freely practice strats. the ONLY teams ppl saw as elite back then was DRX and PRX😭

the great leap forward is happening as we speak. before they were a bunch of men shooting with hype and aura but they're getting more organized and advancing
on OUR lives the chinese century of valorant is upon us 🔴🔴🔴🔴

only situation where they win is if they get over their mental block. even domestically they have a tendency to throw away leads and make games close for no reason. they have strong enough firepower to be top 3 in the tourney, but their ability to completely toss away maps in the most monumentally infuriating way possible holds them back

posted 5 months ago

compare the fundamentals from split 2 last year to now. It's night and day
once the coaching staff who actually know wtf they're doing solidify in tier 1 and get their systems more bolted down we'll see more noticeable improvements

posted 5 months ago

The improvements CN has made since 2024 alone is incomparable tbh. The floor's much higher all around with some major exceptions (everyone knows who). Everyone's too caught up on sizing the other cn teams up with EDG as the measuring stick and ignoring the large collection of little things that the middle-pack and other high-level domestic teams have accomplished

An EMEA team getting eliminated by the chinese esports branch of an English PL team would be peak cinema

holy nothing burger essay. stopped reading after "whatever"

posted 5 months ago

yeah it does, but progress is progress & this shows they're getting results. hopefully this win shreds the mental block they always get when they get round leads lol. maybe if ppl stop seeing whiffs & egregious calls when they're too close to the sun they'll get the respect they lack atm

alr. i'm chilling

posted 5 months ago

ever since the offseason and Bail's rebuild effort the team's only been getting more drilled and sensible. i only see a bright future ahead for this core tbh

posted 5 months ago

first international win that they've had in almost 2 entire years and it was off the back of two rookies debuting from their academy. Rushia shaping to be next up on controller

nah like the feeling isn't logical something just feels OFF. the cn teams are lackluster... too lackluster

posted 5 months ago

have a foreboding aura that one of the chinese teams will climb the mountain of low expectations and come out on the other side of swiss? there's something in the air this masters without EDG here

posted 5 months ago

funniest outcome was if they bet on themselves to win

posted 6 months ago

lowkey if alvin starts performing better he might have cn orgs knocking on his door

posted 6 months ago

yeah ppl love underestimating how much of an asset having an agent who could provide PERFECT INFO was for igls and teams as a whole. you saw so many teams struggle to adapt with the midround decisions when they actually had to use intuition/more developed macro

posted 6 months ago

while not completely hopeless China needs a literal miracle of a run to get a top 4 finish atp. BLG/Wolves need to fight a full gauntlet

posted 6 months ago

BLG was indisputably within the top 3 of china, but Wolves qualifying was a result of the absolute miracle of BLG having the only off day of their entire season happen against them. In the b05 they got absolutely demolished and you can't say that EDG would've lost to them in that form even with Jieni having an absolute homicide of a game

posted 6 months ago

from what i know not really anything at all. Lucas was the only one that was even really noticed and that was after he blatantly obviously teased it in a twitter clip + was literally playing with chinese streamers. there are a decent amount of ethnically chinese tier 3 & collegiate players though who i could see moving if given the opportunity
