unfortunately it all depends on what they cook between now and then lmao. It's all in NathanD's hands atp and what the players do with it. I do have hope they'll step up at least a little in Seoul n make it to playoffs depending on what group they get. not getting my hopes up TOO high for a run though
you mentioned vct China as a whole so i assumed you meant that my b
imo that's recency bias considering FPX overall has been a little underwhelming after shanghai
really no Autumn? bro's been clutching it up for FPX the entire season
if you're this butthurt over a map loss then idk what to say. i'm not defending the content i literally said it's ass bro
NA georgia servers. to be fair that might help me cuz i'm not playing in texas or anything in the middle of the country where ppl might go when multi-queuing
where in my post am i complimenting curry specifically? and yeah i bothered to turn it on n i got gold today. your point?
yeah the minute i learned how to swing/peek ppl correctly (or at least better than I was) I started winning lol. this shit is broken
i haven't encountered any smurfs from when i started this act from bronze, and if there was i literally don't pay attention. why would i whine about the players on the opposite team when I should be contributing myself
yeah ik those are downsides but the range is what irks me specifically lol. the fact i gotta rotate to smoke the opposite site hurts me. maybe if i play omen it'd be easier but i like brim's ult. give me way more freedom to clutch & get free kills
yeah it he has zero reach on his ipad on maps like abyss and pearl
most of the advice i've come across for smokes comes down to "don't smoke too shallow!" or "make sure you smoke at the right times" as if that remotely helps any of the other shit you encounter in-game. i one-trick brim and knowing how to fight against golds & disrespecting them has won me so many games
yuh. tryna hit plat by this week. went from s2 to g1 today
this is pretty much it tbh. also is quite a demonstration about how big the mechanical differences are
watching curry's controller to radiant streams have actually helped me learn how to carry. they're kinda ass but the content is pretty helpful to learn how to set yourself up while not being a useless baiter
him, solo and hsk are undoubtably the best coaches of the entire year hands down
munchkin is easily equal if not better
save your hope for next year when AG win the first masters 🗣️
i love the Chinese teams but realistically only EDG is maybe making it out of groups in their current form, and even then that's a big MAYBE. They can improve during the 1-2 week window between now and champs but that's highly unlikely
they look very solid atm & FPX haven't looked the best recently
i didn't say allat but ykw i'm moved by your enthusiasm. they're winning it all!
Trace are capable of doing some serious damage & could very well beat all the weaker teams in the other regions that they come across. Hopefully now that they've made an international they feel way less pressure
eh his freestyling ain't bad enough for that to happen i'd say. i get what you're saying though
Eminem would make a million pop culture references just for Kendrick to verbally kick him in the balls. it's not gonna be close
Mega banger incoming NathanD cooks again FPX 2-1
The fact that they had this roster in the first place is a pretty good indication that this probably won't happen, thankfully. There was a big pool of older players they could've pulled from, or kept the players from their previous roster signed. At the end of the day they chose to add players that were largely unknown quantities on the tier 1 environment.
The foundation for them is there, yes; on the contrary, I think the longer offseason will actually help AG quite a bit. They definitely need a period to mentally reset & analyze their year, and it'll allow them to purely focus on brushing up & polishing their ideas. The only thing that could potentially ruin this is a drastic roster change, but with Ego's take on the game I don't think that's likely to happen
it's for sure the vision that Ego has for the team, and I'm all for it. What he turned Bunt and Monk into is exactly what they need for it, too
If they replicate their improvements from this year in the offseason & 2025 I can definitely see them being one of the more scary teams come champs next year. This year was a proof of concept, and they definitely proved its validity!
To be fair I think the mental problems were simply confidence; nothing less, nothing more. Bunt and Monk were the only two players on the roster with any form of international or big stage experience. Spitfires was cut from RA, DelB was largely an unknown going into the year due to his quiet performance during the offseason, and Sword9 has mostly been in the backseat throughout the 2023 season. I think if you give this roster time they'll polish themselves into a g2-esque team of fundamentally strong individuals who will cook whenever needed.
There were some highs and some low lows, but all in all I would say it was a success! Were they great? Not really. Were they bad? I'd also say no. What I will say though is that there is promise in the system that Ego & Sword9 have set up. Going from bottoming out in kickoff to the upper half of the league with a ragtag team of what was seen as underwhelming mechanical talent is really good! I hope management keep letting Ego & Sword9 cook with the roster next season, and that they can cultivate a more confident mentality going forward to fully materialize the ideas they come up with. The league is only going to get better & even more competitive as more competent systems are formed, so the fact that they already have a decent structure to build their fundamentals is a great sign. #BuntTheMonk
having to switch igls is a bigger adjustment than you realize, esp since Yoman & ValorantAnalysis were pretty much on the same wavelength before they were forced to choose between him and Stew
they figured it out at their lowest point. can't wait to see the core perform next season
FPX by a landslide. the rest are fully capable of upsetting some teams though
same i just needa find a website that displays their shit throughout the season. liquipedia wasn't super reliable & vlr is in the dark for 90% of it
I'm pretty sure that most of the teams in CN tier 2 scene will have rosters for next year. They seem pretty all in on the idea
ngl all i really know is that qiuye plays for them, but he was pretty mid on TEC. haven't watched any of their games to judge them
they'll get filtered out this offseason. there are some DEMONS in CN tier 2 atm
that's the one thing. unfortunately not every team's gonna have a NathanD or DestroyeR that's ahead of the curve so it's gonna be a while til most of them find their Bail
it's either a fun af slugfest of 10 different mechanical outliers or a clown fiesta that's equally as funny to watch
i predict it's gonna be another LoL situation. gonna gradually get super drilled but still have psychopaths who do whatever tf they want that'll catch a lotta ppl outside the region off guard
