If they lose the single elim, they're gonna regret tossing this game cuz they have the same amount of points as TS and RRQ
Why do people keep saying this? Not like the 3 SEA teams are better than DRX.
Isn’t the Riddle kids not old enough for franchise?
Its true. Players get 100% of prize money + stream revenue. They also get 50% of merchandise sales. Plus the org covers the cost for video editing and promotions.
DRX didn't pick Fracture, they just floated it so EG picked it
Gen.G sucks on Sunset. The comp they’re playing ain’t it
I think they’re out cuz they lost a map to GE. Also Gen.G has to lose 0-2 which isn’t happening at the moment
Isn’t that a normal tactic talent agencies use to get their players out of contract? t3xture is also under one of the most know Korean esports agencies
I thought they’re eliminated already cause they lost a map. They had to win out with clean 2-0’s wasn’t it?
Just one guy jumping with a classic and the next guy trade. Holy stax was 1hp
If Autumn couldn't help grow Munchkin as an IGL, he ain't helping Carpe
If he's smart, he will not re-sign with DFM/CR when his contract ends this year and join ZETA to play with Dep & Sugarz3ro. But he has shown a lot of loyalty to CR before so he might stay with them. If he stays, then hopefully DFM builds better roster around him
His contract ends this year. ZETA better drop the bag on him
That’s from the fans perspective. I’m talking about within the team
In Korean culture, the coach will always win cause they’re usually older and in terms of hierarchy coach > player
Yea, I didn’t mind the addition of Foxy9 and Beyn. Flashback had personal issues so he had to benched was unfortunate. And I understand if they felt the 2022 roster had hit its peak. But there was really no need to drop stax when you barely lost to the Shanghai winners
Why can’t Termi just keep a consistent roster throughout the year? Imagine if the dropped Rb when he was underperforming in 2022, they probably would have never made 3rd at Champs.
You think Termi would have learnt from the Foxy9-Zest switcharoo but NO. DRX just had to drop their IGL and only initiator player just cause they didn’t qualify for one event, now they’re gonna miss out on every event this year
I still don’t understand why they dropped stax. Like they were clearly the 3rd best team in Pacific. They just got unlucky Gen.G trolled the upper bracket game against T1.
If they kept the same roster they would easily qualify for Champs. Now they’re probably not even making Champs
Gen.G has to play 3 games in a week while Team Secret gets to rest and study how Gen.G plays the new patch
T1 over RRQ. People overrate RRQ’s popularity in Valorant. They might be big in mobile esports but that popularity hasn’t translated over to Valorant yet
Those orgs are paying minimum wage. Just cause the players are signed doesn’t mean they’re paid well. There’s a reason why so many Korean players go to Japan.
KimGyuTae (Former DRX streamer who tried to go pro) said that unless your parents can support you, you’re better off going to college
They barely squeaked into playoffs because they where in the group with GE & Bleed. They got matched up against TS who are known chokers. Then they peaked at the right time against a griefing Gen.G to win the qualification game
Surely you have to include ZETA if you wanna boost viewership
JPN has too big a viewership to not be its own region.
KR T2 is kinda dead. Despite all the talent Korea has, orgs are not investing. Thats why all the good players go to JPN/CN so they can play and get paid well
They need to pick up a proper IGL or at least someone who’s willing to do it. Stop throwing the IGL role around to players just cause they have a lot of experience.
I hope they keep a full Japanese roster. I know Japan lacks upcoming talent but I still believe there’s enough talent to build a good full Japanese roster. It’ll be sad if even ZETA stops believing in upcoming Japanese talent.
Finally after 3 stages, Korea’s downfall has begun. Its time for SEA to take over Pacific
Get someone who wants to IGL. Stop throwing the role around and affect their fragging.
It still boggers my mind that gave the IGL-ing to their best player...like wtf
Bro has a life game like once a year. He did this at the beginning of the season last year
I can't believe that this ZETA looks worse than last year. They need to get Meiy and move Dep to play flex. And find a proper initiator player cause hiroronn/Yuran ain't it on initiator, or just put Laz on Sova/Skye.
ZETA should buy him out and rebuid for a Japanese superteam
his downfall must be studied. how is he worse than even lakia??
What result for PRX at Champs would justify keeping the same roster for next year? Must they win?
They’re clearly a level above Pacific, maybe only Gen.G can challenge them but Gen.G domestically aren’t as good as internationally. But internationally, they are the only team to make finals to not have won a trophy (We’ll see if TH joins them but TH is looking good for Champs).
Yeah, because expectations for PRX is to win a trophy. Just being consistent isn’t good enough for this roster
The real bangers:
DFM vs ZETA
BLEED vs GE
Korea T2 is already underpaid. That's why everyone goes to Japan or China to play
We’re so screwed. The 3 Korean teams are making top 4 again. All our hopes are on PRX
neon

killjoy/cypher

zeta/optic ran this comp in 2022 and i really liked it. i think it’ll be good with the neon buffs
Why do people keep spreading misinformation? DRX never bought Lakia out. Back then, Lakia's contract with Nuturn ended and he contacted Vision Strikers to join them. (Source)
Even in the recent Homegrown documentary, Lakia said it was his decision, although he regrets it and thinks its the wrong decision now
Any Koreans know if IAM is actually trying to win Ascension? Or are they just playing for content?

Thats what I'm questioning, there should have been a VPN setup to use the APAC client.
Why wasn't there a proper setup for the teams to use APAC servers RITO?
