where did they say this?

posted 6 months ago

what are you talking about??? their current standing only matter for 4th seat split 2 is a qualifier for champs not a champ point farm and whoever has the most makes it. champ ponts are a replacement for lcq and reward the team who was most consistent throughout the year. 1st seat at champs is not indicative of how many points you have.

posted 6 months ago

championship points only effect the 4th seat if they were to place top 3 in split 2 they would make champs if they dont they wont have enough champ points in order to get 4th seat bc of how poorly they played in split 1

posted 6 months ago

all of those teams can still make it to champs they have to place top 3 in split 2 in order to do so

posted 6 months ago

GE would stomp furia

posted 6 months ago

results dont tell the whole story acting like they didnt beat them 2 days prior and didnt look better then them the entire tournament

posted 6 months ago

madrid gen g would defiantly beat any 2022 team what makes you think otherwise?

posted 6 months ago

they clearly couldnt adapt to the 2022 meta what makes you think they could now? im pretty sure we can all agree 2021 was the lowest level we have seen the game be played at being a top team that year isnt nearly as impressive and fnatics run yes they had insane individuals but thats not all it took to be a top tier team in 2023 unlike 2021 if you took 2021 gambit and put them up against 2023 fnatic they would get probably a collective of 4 rounds and thats being generous. also lev and kru are not only winning bc they have insane duelists they are winning because of their teamplay and strategic depth but of course having players like that is gonna help. and your d3ffo argument makes no sense i dont even understand what your getting at. are you saying d3ffo isnt a top tier player so the fact that they had mechanically gifted players on the team isnt true? if anything that only proves my point that shows you the skill level it took to be a top player then was significantly lower to now and cherry picking gambits worst player to try to disprove my point is hilarious by mechanical players im talking about chronicle and nats. also my entire point isnt talking about whether a roster that got disbanded could adapt now im saying if you took how that roster played at their peak and put them up against a top tier team now they would get smoked is that a hot take? cuz it really shouldnt be.

i agree their are definatly a lot more hm but imo the competition has only increased over time a lot of people value who beat who and who won what trophy but i dont think results tell the whole story the reason i have loud 2023 over 2022 is for that very reason the league was more competitive during that time and they are one of two teams to beat prime fnatic and they did it twice i value that higher then beating optic in a lower skill level tournament and the reason i have gen g in 4th is because all throughout kickoff and madrid they looked like the best team in those tournaments and the rate at which they were improving was insane to me people will never give them the credit they deserve for that run bc they choked in the gf but i still think they are really good and would beat any 2022 team but i can understand if you dont think they are 4th but look at optic they choked 2 grand finals and your arguing for them to be higher and they were playing at a time where the skill level was lower geng is still a very new team and i think its only the beginning for them.

posted 6 months ago

your team is dogshit

posted 6 months ago

im not trying to take anything away or discrediting their accomplishments at the time they were the best teams but the name of the thread actual top 10 best teams and these are imo the 10 best teams we have seen play valorant at their peak not who has the most accomplishments

posted 6 months ago

loud 2022 shit the bed in copenhagen and were competing in 2022. loud 2023 >>>> it aint even close

posted 6 months ago

what region are you? eu?

posted 6 months ago

fnatic also did a lot more and have looked unbeatable in certain points in time edg havent made top 4 at an event i dont even know when edg would have peaked they kinda remained at a similar skill level all of last year

posted 6 months ago

really hard to tell since they have only looked like this for 3 games and got stomped by kru who 100t took a map off of and sen look like hot garbage. g2 honestly should have won bind kinda embarrassing they didnt with double pistols and map 2 they didnt care so who knows i think loud will take it tho

posted 6 months ago

because they peaked when the level of competition amongst the top teams was the highest and their the only team to win 2 trophies if fnatic were in their 2023 form they would be the best team this year no doubt

posted 6 months ago

yeah bro a war effected how they played valorant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 emea bot living in the past

posted 6 months ago

they beat optic who everyone thinks is insane and one of the best teams in valorant i agree drx is a hm and its not recency bias i just value teams competing and doing well against harder competition in a more evolved version of the game if teams were only getting worse nobody would watch

posted 6 months ago

failed to qualify for a lan in 2022 i rest my case

posted 6 months ago

bro what? their good players thats why they are still around im saying the team at that time would not compare to any of the teams on this list you saw that with m3c, sen, and ascend who all failed to qualify for a lan the following year

posted 6 months ago

are you fucking retarded?

posted 6 months ago

the game evolves over time if you put a 2022 team against a prime 2023 team they stand no chance the competition gets better over time loud didnt get worse from 2022 to 2023 they got better just so did the competition and tuyz >>> pancada

posted 6 months ago

not saying tgrd is top 14 they choked early on in a tournament they could have won but they did look better than most if not all of the teams leading up to the event and all of the top teams were stealing their strats even optic just came to mind as a worthy hm

posted 6 months ago

more competitive region? the same region with furia 0-5 and mibr 0-5? sen literally had free wins and still got pushed by furia
gen g is in a slump currently but they still are playing a lot better than sen and the t1 loss doesnt happen if they win the bonus or a second pistol on ascent. they will beat t1 in a bo5 no doubt

posted 6 months ago

tgrd would smoke gambit and acend. fut this year could be in hm but we havent seen them at an event and they are in a super weak region

posted 6 months ago

how is that a hot take genuinly explain

posted 6 months ago

qck kinda farmed g2 today yesterday but mayble palla or sato

posted 6 months ago

lowkey edg has an argument but they kinda fell off this year with the same players so idk

posted 6 months ago

lemme know when sen arrives in shanghai

posted 6 months ago

i dont see a world where 100t win this but who knows

posted 6 months ago

LEV AINT EVEN WINNING THE REGIONAL PLAYOFFS
kru better

FNS
S0M
Sinatraa
Exalt
Yay

posted 6 months ago

gambit was just hero plays from talented players thats all it took to be good in 2021 🤣

posted 6 months ago

results randys will say this but the reality is they were better then sen all through out the tournament even in the final they should have 3-0d them but sen ended up experience diffing them in the last map but they were still playing better then sen you saw that in upper final.

posted 6 months ago

it was a flash in the pan but they beat prime fnatic gotta be worth something right 😭

  1. FNATIC (Lock-In - Tokyo)
  2. Evil Geniuses (Tokyo - Champions 2023)
  3. Paper Rex (Champions 2023)
  4. GenG (Madrid)
  5. LOUD (Champions 2023)
  6. Team Liquid (EMEA PLAYOFFS 2023)
  7. Sentinels (Madrid)
  8. Fun Plus Phoenix (2022)
  9. Optic (2022)
  10. LOUD (2022)

HM: LEV 2024, KRU 2024, PRX 2024, TGRD 2022
reason they arent on the list is bc its too soon to say and tgrd choked at an event where they looked better then everyone playing at their best.
a lot of people are nostalgia merchants and will put 2021 teams on their list i promise you they would get smoked by mid tier 2023-24 teams.
Sen fans dont get mad gen g is better than you except you fluked out and won a trophy over a team whos better than you hopefully u guys do well at shanghai... oh wait.

posted 6 months ago

so wrong player wise tenz is not in the discussion his prime was 2024.
aspas is arguably in the best form hes ever been in right now.
demon1 is fair but imo jawgemo was a bigger reason as to why they won champs and is massively overlooked.
yay too low but good hes on the list.
same with alfa too low.

and team wise jesus christ we need a mental asylum for u
fnatic 2023 is definatly the highest peak of a team we have seen so far at least u got that right.
loud 2022 is not even close and loud 2023 is better in every single way even player wise
EG should be second.
optic gets cleared by any top tier 2023 team maybe theyd be better if they stuck together but we will never know
gambit has to be a joke.

posted 6 months ago

definatly not losing to c9 they got pushed by mibr 🤣

posted 6 months ago

they are good and leaf is definatly really good hes just learning a new role but they never win rounds from individuals they always have to grind out every round unlike top teams who all have players that win rounds on their own

posted 6 months ago

they need a guy who can takeover a map icy aint cut out for this

posted 6 months ago

havent followed apex comp in awhile whos the best team rn?

fns planned for weeks he was gonna watch an emea game with sliggy

posted 6 months ago

i get it but the reality is that viper provides something no other agents provide and as long as thats true and its useful she will get picked even if its a bit worse teams will always try to force it before moving away from it

posted 6 months ago

no value on bind????? bro as long as you can walk down a main with her orb and wall and apply the pressure of doing that throughout a round she will have 100% pickrate

posted 6 months ago

everyone is still gonna play viper why is everyone overreacting its not a meta shifting nerf

posted 6 months ago

viper nerfs are not even bad she will still maintain a 70% pick rate overall imo shes good on every map still just cant play lineups and has 5 seconds less of stall

posted 6 months ago

he thinks they played well on lotus LMAO
