what team comps do you guys think we see with the viper nerfs? Maybe more harbor pickrate on the map?

Yeah I remember the deadly drx comp from lock in on icebox against C9, and LOUD experimenting with harbour last year too. I liked that. I can't wait to see more of it.

I agree, I'm surprised we didnt see more of it because his util is proven to have potential, especially the cascades.

Yeah i could see that too, although i wonder if double controller with harbor becomes more popular, which makes it harder to implement a sage.

Harbor is great on icebox unlike Breeze, I could see some teams adding Harbor to their comp

Breeze is always gonna a viper map, i guess its just if harbor sneaks in more even as a double controller with her.

viper nerfs are not even bad she will still maintain a 70% pick rate overall imo shes good on every map still just cant play lineups and has 5 seconds less of stall

i dont know if she will still have as much value on the double controller maps like lotus, bind. We might see other styles of comps to try things out next split. She'll still be strong on breeze/icebox, but other maps i dont know.

no value on bind????? bro as long as you can walk down a main with her orb and wall and apply the pressure of doing that throughout a round she will have 100% pickrate

I didnt say she would have no value on bind, but i just think with the shorter time for them to stay up with the other changes, maybe some way of dealing with that specific setup is made easier like some gekko flash lineup or something. Also changes like the orb being stuck makes her less effectivein postplants/late rounds, which means even with the setup her late round value is diminished. Also i just want to get rid of viper meta so theres large traces of copium in here.

i get it but the reality is that viper provides something no other agents provide and as long as thats true and its useful she will get picked even if its a bit worse teams will always try to force it before moving away from it

some teams will definitely pick harbor but viper will still be #1 on breeze icebox

Probably, but i wonder about icebox. I guess her orb is just so strong, but im hoping at least something new is developed for the next split

I think Vipers pickrate will go down but on maps like Icebox, Breeze, Split, Lotus and Pearl with Harbor Viper she will still be played a lot
