I apologize beforehand if I'm misunderstanding your comment. However, I don't recall ever stating that NRG is a good team. I simply stated that they were 4th at Tokyo. I understand that their Tokyo performance was indeed whatever, but I still held them in higher regards than BLG before Champions. If I "don't know ball" because I made the obvious decision to value NRG over BLG before we saw anything from them, then I might as well quit Valorant esports (which I also won't)

NRG was fourth at Tokyo. I don't know about you but before Champs '23 I had BLG around the bottom of my tier list. After that... they're still a low C - low B tier team for sure.

I wonder how good Muggle actually is... the last sub EDG had was Smoggy, and look at how good he is!

I think they might not see short term success (might not make Madrid), but I think they could certainly mount a challenge in the long run.

Hey man, I hope you're just having an off day or something, but it doesn't look good to assume things that just simply aren't true. There have been a large amount of threads/forums that have had dozens of comments relating to the discussion of topics such as RA, stew, and the CN region in general. While I don't doubt that there's a possibility that you have indeed not heard about those players/orgs but I believe there have been enough forums/appearances in the vlr community to have at least seen some discussions related to them.
I think you're just being unobservant/forgetful, and that's okay, we all have moments where we miss things. I hope you have a good day.

I would like to thank you for all your wonderful suggestions. Some of you have made great points and I am elated to see how so many of you have passion for the teams you support. However, after a long period of contemplation, I have made the decision to go the VCT 2024 season without a flair/main team I support.

Of course, I still have teams and players I'm fond of, but I will not revolve my Valorant Esports experience around one main team (as I have done previously with TL.)

I will take this year to be generally neutral and re-evaluate my understanding of all Tier 1 teams from every region.

But of course! I've read this piece quite a numerous amount of times. While there is a general lack of showing-not-telling, I feel like it conveys an adequate amount of the emotions the narrator intends to express. Overall I think it's a decent piece but it could be more suspenseful if made longer. However, I understand that this moment was a traumatizing experience for the protagonist, so it makes sense that it's short and fast paced.

I'm afraid I just don't have the required knowledge and time to write a story about demon1 and jawgemo kissing. I'm not even done with 10% of my current piece, and I'd really like to finish that by the time I graduate.

No. Although it's just a hobby of mine, my friends still read my products, and I try my best not to spend time attempting to produce any pieces that may offend/disturb them. Also, it's hard for me to write about real people because I write in the first person present perspective and it's difficult to understand what real people feel and think.

That's a great question uwukitten! The story I'm currently working on right now is a realistic fiction/romance piece about people growing up and forming meaningful relationships with one another. I guess it could be seen as a bildungsroman but I switch perspectives between the characters so it doesn't really focus on any specific one in particular.

You could make predictions and previews for the matches. Here's a short and brief template!

1. Introduce teams and importance of series.
2. Talk about recent form/interesting things you saw from previous matches.
3. Integrate those interesting things and connect it to how the teams could perform in the series.
4. Conclude by deciding on a winner and a score.
5. State the score clearly in a short and concise sentence so people who don't like to read don't have to read.

I understand your point, and I agree with the majority of your points. It's just that I find it hard to imagine Russia projecting any form of nationalism through Valorant Esports that isn't their flag on the players shirts. And unlike the 1936 German Olympics, which was hosted by the Third Reich, all of Russias representation in Valorant exists in the form of organizations playing on the international stage. These events are all hosted by RIOT, which to me implies that it may be harder for third parties to get involved.
But of course, I accept that I'm probably younger and less educated than you are, so if I have made any flaws in my reasoning, feel free to point it/them out and I will change accordingly :)

I get your point. Perhaps it's due to Italian culture or something but people here are generally well kept, and follow hygiene common senses daily. However, they do smoke/vape a bunch and it is something I dislike. I would like to shower more than once a day as well, but my towel doesn't dry fast, and drying myself with a wet towel is not very nice :(

It's a pretty bad reason imo. Russia has good orgs and good players. The only things getting in its way are recent events that have nothing to do with Esports. Personally I feel like some things should be separated, such as Esports and politics.

But of course! Murder is never right, and it is important to address the faults of the perpetrators and punish them accordingly. However, I just feel like it could be different when you're an employee.

I can get that, but he was stated to be their most "prized asset", which implies that he is a highly trained professional who probably took his job very seriously. As much as I hate to say it, he might've just been being professional and not letting other factors such as emotion/ethics/morals get in the way of completing the job.

But sometimes it's more than just "oh they could've still made the right decision." There may be other factors that we aren't seeing. After all, we haven't been shown everything about Omens past. He could've took the job for various reasons. I don't think we understand Omens former motivations enough to correctly diagnose the true reason as to why he became an assassin/chose to accept the hit on Viper, since they seemed to be friends/colleagues.

Also, just my personal opinion, but some jobs are more than just jobs. Some duties mean more than what they are, or rather they might be worth more than the consequences. Some people can do wrong things in the quest of seeking validation from their superiors. I think there are plenty of examples of people who have done the wrong things under orders to gain benefits for themselves. Of course, I don't condone it, but I believe that sometimes we need to look deeper into the circumstances that surround ill acts and address them accordingly.
