First of all, this prediction is based purely off the assumption that nothing shady happens. Personally, I think the RSG-ME match wasn't completely clean, and that the scoreline flatters itself. Therefore, I think that if TEC is able to recreate their dominance in their first matchup, they should probably win this series 2-0 without much of an issue.
TEC 2-0.

They've always been such a strange, inconsistent team no matter how they try to switch up their roster...

Woops it seems that I had replied to you on accident! Sorry!

Is ME's roster really the ones playing? So many careless mistakes...

posted about a year ago

That's a big generalization but it's certainly applicable in this case.

I usually like to give benefit of the doubt but that game was just different.

I don't think they've shown anything that says that they can compete against teams like ASE and RA yet. However, I do agree with you 100% on how they are indeed a team to watch. I think that if they get a bit more experience, we might see a Trace Esports type of development where they start to get acknowledged.

Yeah that horrendous first map 4 point lead whiff probably spelt the result prematurely. I still think that if they had indeed won the first map and built some momentum, they could've won.

If nothing sus happens, FPX should and will win 2-0.

I mean, I really enjoy interacting with the lower tier teams, because they can be very entertaining to watch but some times their actions and lack of regulation just ruin it.

Damn right. It's not like I care about them more than I do the other teams anyways...

I'm curious as to how you decided the AG-LGD match.

posted about a year ago

Bro from my point of view there should've been a very low chance that LGD would've lost. Okay, first map, it's whatever, the odds were kinda fishy, but that Breeze match... It really did seem to me like at least something was rigged. The way they played just didn't seem right. Sometimes one team was making rookie mistakes while after a few rounds, it was the other. Man idk maybe I'm overthinking it but it didn't feel right when I watched it. This is actually the first time i've felt this way about any official tournament I've watched.

posted about a year ago

I don't blame you. There have been some shady matches especially that AG-LGD match that just finished a couple dozen minutes ago.

posted about a year ago

Whoever buys the match wins ig. I just can't trust LGD after watching them throw.
But! Objectively speaking 4AM should win 2-0

posted about a year ago

It's definitely slightly shady... I don't think it was wrong to believe that LGD would be the winner, as they have been better than AG... So I find it somewhat strange that they lost in such disappointing fashion.

I think both teams have a good chance at winning this series. DRG had many individual moments of excellence but in my opinion 17G is more solid as a team. I believe that this aspect to these teams will be a major factor to watch. However, I do think that DRG will win.
2-0 DRG win.

I have ODG winning here in my pick'ems, but after seeing how KBG played, I think there's a very high chance that KBG win 2-0. Unless they play badly, I think there's hardly any space for doubt that they'll lose this. ODG can win though, if they play at the top level possible for them.
2-0 KBG win.

What a hard fought series by KBG! They actually played really well. and I hope to see more of the same in the future.

posted about a year ago

It's 1-0 KBG. Vo0kashu is playing really well, but his team needs to step up if they want to see this series through.

You're quite welcome!
But don't rely on me too much...

Night Wings Gaming should win. They had a hard-fought match against BLG, and I could see some good ideas from them. However, when I watched the DYG-RNG match, there were times where I leaned back, took a deep breath, and contemplated: "Is DYG throwing"? Of course, the answer should be "no", but I think that NWG just has such a better grasp of the game than DYG that they'll be able to see this through.
NWG 2-0 win.

posted about a year ago

Hear me out. RNG actually has a chance at winning this series. While BLG did look good, and mayhaps even great against NWG, they've been prone to losing certain matches they shouldn't. Of course, it's a new act, and perhaps they've gotten their act together; but still, there's a very good chance that RNG, a decent team, could win against BLG 2-1.

Monarch Effect should win this. I saw so many great site executes, retakes and holds from ME when they played against TES, and while they did lose the gap wasn't that large. On the other hand, RSG got quite the thrashing from TEC, and they didn't look very convincing at all.
Monarch Effect 2-0 win.

I feel like this could be a great series to watch. Both teams have shown great things and it's definitely going to be a hard-fought match. I do think that TES will take the win, because I saw some great plays against ME (who didn't play that bad). Of course, TEC could and probably will put up a good fight and I can see them taking a map.
TES 2-1 win.

Exactly!

That would make sense.

I watch a variety of different scenes and tournaments including the Crossfire Cup among others (I just finished watching the FNC-C9 game). However, recently I've been mainly commenting on CN games because it's a new scene (for many people i think) and there is a lot to say about the teams. Watching the CN games is also an opportunity for me to learn more about the teams as I follow this Evolution tourney thing.

BOOM could win this 2-0

I don't think Quick can replace Aspas

I feel pretty good about this roster. Let's see how it goes...

posted about a year ago

However, I will point out that ODG have some decent players like GodDead, and personally I am a big fan of suyjing, so a part of me also wants them to win. But we've all seen what an average team can do after beating a good team (gain confidence), so it'll probably be a tough fight against a jolly 17G.

posted about a year ago

Okay. If TEC is indeed IMAY with the addition of abo, then I think they have a high chance of beating RSG. Probably 2-0 if I may say.

posted about a year ago

Oh! Now that changes things. Thanks for the information! I couldn't find their roster anywhere.

posted about a year ago

Very interesting...

posted about a year ago

They were all very difficult to pick though, especially with Group B's wild card of a team... And TEC-E sports is weird as well...

posted about a year ago

I'll actually start by saying that I see great potential in LGD. They've been on amazing form, and while they were all Bo1s, a 4W winstreak against the likes of KBG and even TYLOO is neither a laughing matter nor a fact one could swat away. All Gamers isn't all too bad though, getting difficult matchups like NIP, BLG, DRG, and arguably NTER. I think LGD continues their run here and takes this win 2-1 despite the fact that All Gamers seem to be favorites.

LGD 2-1 win.

posted about a year ago

This could be a banger. In my opinion, FPX is a top 5 Chinese team, and despite their unusual loss to 17Gaming, I think that since it was merely a Bo1, we should give them the benefit of doubt and say that they just had an off day or something. On paper, FPX is the better team in comparison to 4AM after all. I certainly think that 4AM will put up a good fight though, possibly winning a map. But ultimately, I think FPX is the ones to watch here as they are indeed the favorites to win.
2-1 FPX win.

posted about a year ago

This looks like a pretty good matchup in my opinion. Yes, objectively speaking, DRG has more and better of everything; from players to experience, I believe that DRG is the better team here in every aspect. Regardless, KBG stands a good chance at giving DRG a run for their money if they play well. I think this will be an interesting match to watch and I look forward to seeing how KBG plans on taking a crack at DRG.
DRG 2-0 win.

posted about a year ago

17Gaming against ODG... Well, I don't actually know how hard 17G beat Wolves and FPX, so I can't really say anything about them. ODG on the other hand, seem to be an above average team at most, with a rather unimpressive match history. I think, that when all's said and done, one could say that this could be an indicator match for both teams.
17G 2-0 win.

edit: I fixed some syntax/grammar.

Royal Never Give Up against Douyu Gaming, and I think it's going to be a good match for both sides. It allows RNG to continue to grow and it gives DYG an opportunity to play a stronger team. Point is, RNG should be winning this match. I can't see any important factors to consider, as I think this series should be pretty straightforward.
RNG 2-0.

posted about a year ago

By the way, if BLG doesn't win this I'm going to consider retirement from this gig as a whole.

posted about a year ago

One team is okay, the other is potentially a fraud team in disguise. BLG's performance against TEC was like Bayern Munchen getting beat by Saarbrucken. NWG on the other hand, has always given me the impression of a decent, not too good but not too bad Chinese team. They're structured, and they've got players with great mechanics like cxyy and XII.
Despite all that, I still think BLG wins. Maybe I've lost it, but I think that BLG's last few matches might've been flukes. I think that what they need to do is to get together as a team and just have a talk about everything. Maybe pass around the feeling stick, but they need to do something if they want to get back on track. BLG has great players and I think it's devastating to watch them falter like this.
BLG 2-0 win.

TES actually played well against WBG, an established team that isn't all that bad. Monarch Effect, on the other hand, while not achieving any major win recently, did put up a nice fight against RNG last time around. Additionally, looking at the form of the individual players, I can see that the players on TES's side just have better overall stats, which could imply that they're the better team. I might be taking a stab in the dark here, but I think TOP Esports is going to win 2-0 this time around.
