i think it was a character or an actor from a movie but cant remember which one, just thought it sounded cool and im not really good with names so i went with it
used to be omen then i stopped playing for a while returned recently and got really into fade for some reason (dont really play that much tho)
Will be on a bus for the next six hours and need some distraction ask me anything
26 by paramore and daylily by movements
hope things get better for you :)
individually? yeah. theres a discussion about pancada but to me, overall, aspas had a better year. less wasn't 100% developed yet and sacy and saadhak were inconsistent individually, compensating with calls and team support.
its fair to think yay was better but i dont think the gap was that big if there was a gap at all
While its offseason and shouldn't be taken seriously sometimes i think Mako is too comfortable on DRX and ends up missing his chance at being an international superstar because he doesnt learn english to get out of korea or go to a better project (even in korea itself)
Like dont get me wrong DRX is fine but hes been there for so long and never won internationals and i feel like he's too "yeah whatever" to the idea
maybe a hot take but while demon1 was the best player at champs i think aspas, less and alfajer had a better overall year than him
i mean yay was crazy good back then and 2022 was not the best version of aspas but theres no reason to believe yay was THAT above him
fair enough. but i do think eventually (if you guys are willing to get into more tourneys and stuff) someone should learn kayo. hes a very fun agent and very overpowered and essential when played right
chamber is a fun agent put it in every map
honestly i dont think theres any need to innovate on ascent on "low level" like if you play it well enough you will already win most of your games, t1 new ascent comps games were mostly because every team was playing the same and they wanted to counter one another, but the 2022 comp is still the best there is to the map until they change it or the agents.
if you really want to get freaky and feel comfortable enough with it then go for it tho, enemies probably wont know how to counter. its your team after all and you all should be comfortable with your agents, its best to play in comfort than to twist yourself up for the meta (specially on lower level)
breeze comp is fair enough lol but i do think that prx comps only work with them because they're used to the "chaos" playstyle and trust one another 100% on the game, to normal teams that comp (and their comps in general) is mostly not good
sunset: normal comp
lotus: fine enough, but i do think neon currently is stronger than raze
split: not a fan of clove as main smokes, i would go with astra, but this could work
abyss: fine too
bind: fine but i think brim is the best controller (his ult + molly are pretty significant on this map)
ascent: no. if youre gonna deviate from the best comp, at least use better agents
icebox: fine enough, but id go with killjoy instead of clove
haven: not a fan but this map is very open to different comps so its fine
pearl: jesus christ
fracture: use brim and kj
breeze: somehow worse than pearl
its actually pronounced luke-show
we have loss less and liss(a) no we need luss and lass
tem mais alguem fazendo isso? to ligado q o aspas tava fazendo
THE best T2 player in the world
only played online regionals
"not his fault that he didnt classify" fair enough but he still only played online regionals you can't say someone is the best of the world if he only played online regionals
same applies to verno
"potential" is just a word to not admit that right now they're worse. we didn't see mibr and lev play yet. let's slow down
Agree with the exception i think MIBR and Furia both are tier B and C9 is tier C (dont watch that much of emea apac and china to form an opinion)
EG is not unproven. they are proven bad. Same roster that did nothing last year, with the devastating loss of Jawgemo that they replaced with Sym/Icy (both not very tier1 material and a massive downgrade, but at least icy don't compromise anything), and replacing Apoth with Yay (which is a upgrade but we'il have to see how much of it because yay haven't been good in 2 years, and if it will compensate for jawgemo's loss). Only undeniably good of this team is potter but she can't make miracles as we seen this season lol
First BR off season announced, created by streamer and ex-riot caster Tixinha. It will be the first look at franchised BR 2025, as they will go with their full roster, along with KRU who will also play it
6 Teams confirmed: Loud, MIBR, Furia, 2G, KRU, Shinden (VCLAS), and the two finalists of VCB split 3 will also be invited, with a total of 8 teams on the event. Lev was invited but they'il be at Japan for another offseason tourney (and there was a little drama about tixinha not inviting their academy team)
Happening between december 9th and 15th
khalil from furia. sometimes he just becomes prime pancada out of nowhere. most of the time he's lost on the server. i hope he find some consistency because i like him
yeah, aspas is the one where mibr has "advantage", because of course hes the GOAT. but i think nrg is above on the rest (better proven igl, more consistent support players, etc) and equal on the prospect aspect. i do think that MIBR has a lot more potential outside of aspas than people are giving them, and they could eventually be better than nrg, but rn is not insane to rate nrg above
to me is s0m, he's one of the best controllers of the world and has been carrying nrg on his back for the past two-ish years. and of course aspas is mile aboves him, but s0m is still a very great player
I mean, NRG have the same "formula" as mibr (two very good prospects, one starplayer, and two very solid players), but the difference is that the two solid players from NRG are world champions, so of course NRG will be rated higher
he wanted to leave LEV for any team who paid the buyout, it just happened to be MIBR with frod
apac was 100% his first choice is just that no one wanted to pay (only bleed but we saw how that went)
100% confident he's leaving mibr by the end of the contract but it will be fun while it lasts
so theres four things about v1nny signing:
1) individually, hes not bad. he had a good year in red canids, while they failed on split 2, they were top 2 on split 1 and he was one of the best players there. his numbers are pretty fine for a flex, and while he's not mechanically gifted, hes pretty ok and won't compromise anything on this
2) HOWEVER he was not igl on red (unless theres something i missed) and he didn't igl for over a year now, and when he did he never was really an outstanding igl in any way
3) so anyone would ask: why the fuck did loud sign him. its not that hes bad hes just... not special? there was absolutely nothing he did this year that would make anyone think "yeah this guy deserves a shot on franchising"
4) and this is answered with the fact that it was pancada's recommendation, and pancada is best friends with him. so yeah hes there because pancada wanted lol
which makes it a very weird decision overall
above mirudasso, revelação boa desse camp
they should allow teams that didn't qualify to internationals to play on b-tier tourneys tbh that would fix a lot of things
i feel like it will grow on me but rn i think is weird as shit
too many people complained i think but i also liked the astronaut quite a lot
riot accidentally leaked their new logo at the 2025 format post

what do you think? i liked the idea but didn't like the execution very much, felt more like a 6 than a G
if you're above 23 and is seriously thinking of STARTING a carreer on esports and you didn't already play for a while even in some fakes/t3/other games you should seriously give up on the idea and do something else
most mid20s players have already been playing professionally for a few years (sometimes even on other games), sometimes ever since their adolescence
just go back to some random teams on vlrgg during 2020 on any region and you're going to see a lot of recognizable names
there's a reason there's a lot of young names on the scene, the older guys already made a name for themselves playing several years ago and that's why they made it
top 2 qualifies to bangkok, right?
predicting mibr and nrg for americas because of the possible bracket
thank GOD for the update to the point system, riot W
fair enough. i do think maybe some org managers could've bitched about it, sadly BR scene is built like that lol
i mean its unfair to compare. league has 15 years of existence, valorant has not even 5
thats because saadhak is allergic to masters, pancada has the face of a masters winner, he will bring it to loud, tell everybody on stage to fuck off, go to a club and party for six months
loud will win a masters out of nowhere on a fluke run and then somehow end up out of champions it will be very funny
actually, adding to that: from the entire playoffs i think only two or three coaches (from 8) are employed, with the rest being either FA, retired, or out of valorant
currently 3 out of 4 coaches from champs 22 top 4 are FA
