great team, at least three of them will be on franchising in 2-3 years
they're both great but not even top 5 in each role lol they do have the talent to achieve that tho
FNS - the best IGL in the world
Mada - top 3 duelist in the world
Som - arguably the best smokes player in the world
lets slow down there
melser was the igl last season thats probably why hes still listed but the igl will be adverso
from what i heard he never wanted to be igl in the first place so its very unlikely he will still be now lol
no, by the time loud was trialing players aspas was still deciding if he was leaving LEV, before he even got close to bleed. they got plenty of time to go after nzr and just... didn't
i dont know if it fits because i dont know how this team will play. but i didnt like all knights at all. i think it was a very messy team that got surprisingly far on ascension because the meta favoured them and their opponents kept playing like they were pissing themselves. they had very stupid plays that somehow worked because the rounds were so chaotic no one predicted them
but adverso's team is much better now so maybe he can actually call better. i dont think the same playstyle would work tho
first of all i think releasing saadhak was not the best move. while i understand wanting him out and dont know what happened inside the team, he could've learned from his mistakes. less would leave anyway so they would have a slot for a better fixed duelist who would actually be good at his role, go back to basics of the game, forget whatever garbage idea they had in 2024, and they would have a pretty good roster in their hands. he has been a top igl for a good while and one bad year shouldn't define him.
dgzin is a good choice, not my favorite but i like him. a lot of people wanted sato but i understand not wanting to wait until he's 18 in february, and not many players would accept being just a sub for the meantime.
now, they decided to release saadhak which is fine. they have some igls on the market, and they go for a guy who hasn't been igling for over a year. What? V1nny is a ok player individually but he wasn't particularly great on tier2, he never was a great igl, and he's just there because pancada recommended him (they're friends and played together before). which is... weird, at least. seems like they're lacking a scout, i guess, because no one really understand this choice.
they could've gone after nzr, which while being an unproven igl has actual recent tier1 experience igling, raafa before he joined furia, THE7 shion, could've even put cauanzin igling as he did before, even GLRYS urango would be a reasonable choice, and they just went with a very weird one.
also stk is staying as solo coach and im not a fan of this idea too. he never really had a good project as a head coach and i think he should have at least help with an assistant or analyst, or something. very weird decision too
i agree, idk if it could be better in any way with a full latam squad. im just not a huge fan of adverso
champs 22 was absolutely pancada. sacy had the best performance at finals, aspas was the superstar, saadhak was the goat support and less had some insane performances too, but pancada was loud's most regular player. he was in beast mode through all of the event specially in playoffs. absolutely legendary
Announced today
Keznit - Adverso - Mazino - Melser - Shyy
Honestly pretty solid. Feel bad for mta but he was the weak link. While i dont like adverso igling he could do well in t1, and if melser and mazino maintain consistency, this team could be pretty good and surprising. I was skeptic on kru before but now i truly think this team looks good
loud roster is already confirmed to be
Dgzin - Cauanzin - V1nny - Pancada - Tuyz
honestly would be a pretty fine roster but V1nny igling is a weird choice
don't have many faith on this team tbh they could have done much better
dudes had gtn and sutecas on the team and somehow almost won against gambit gotta respect that
yeah he def still needs to prove himself but im excited, he really deserves a shot. cortezia also, i personally think he was an even better controller but apparently he wants to become a sentinel which is fair, and i heard hes doing very well on practice
there was going to be one but it was cancelled last minute sadly. the orgs were interested on doing offseason as far as i know so idk if they just didn't locked the rosters in time or no invitation came
but honestly i was being sarcastic but the rest of the list is indeed pretty reasonable
agree, the whole region seems very packed and almost anyone could be in any place in a good day on paper. but we will have to see on the actual season
its going to be xenom, he was great last year and almost singlehandlely carried stellae to ascension americas on split 2
so the guy who got 3rd place in ascension is in 4th and the guy who actually won ascension is in 10th? sounds like a pretty reasonable choice
i actually don't know, they probably had a reason to chose him over nzr. the ideal world would of course be saadhak, but i understand why this wasn't possible. don't know how i would do better tbh
grande ceBANDO sempre lembrado
less was a kid constantly hitting top1 radiant and bullying everyone, he was so toxic his nickname was "less verme" which roughly translates to "less the worm", a slang in brazil for someone who is a asshole. he used to play duelist and then started playing sentinel mid-2021 before joining sacy and saadhak team on late 21/early 22 and steamrolling the entire brazilian valorant scene in 2022 with loud, becoming world champion at 17 years old
Adverso is a good IGL, i think que demostrate that in ascension
honestly disagree with that, didn't like him at ascension at all. all knights felt very messy and disorganized, and them being that far with their playstyle was already pretty surprising. but who knows i might be wrong (i hope i am because kru deserves a good year)
honestly we still have to see latam teams but to me everyone looks pretty good or at least fun on paper
i mean yeah nrg looks really great but its not only that. sen looks completely lost. its not only nrg being better sen actively looks really horrible rn
i mean its too early to tell but for those games alone the team def misses tenz and sacy
dude whats happening LMAOOOOOOO i know its an offseason and should not be taken that seriously but the team is already melting down what the fuck
also panique and bzka are not going to loud
heat will not be the duelist in furia
and cortezia and xenom are trialing together on mibr
idk what hes on
unproven talent. i also thought G2 was going to be mid last year because we don't know how well these teams will go on t1. its a "we'il have to see on action" scenario
have we learned nothing?
what do you mean by that their 2024 was terrible they weren't bottom 3 because of a dumb tiebraker rule lol
loud without saadhak and less is a team without a soul, pancada just hasnt been it lately and tuyz never was that impressive in my eyes, could easily see them being around 10-11
while i do understand why you would think that, i think you're plain wrong. saadhak and less, besides being the GOATS, are human and make mistakes, and were mostly at fault for how 2024 went. saadhak had some crazy vision about the game that was simply stupid for the current meta and less had a bit of an attitude that dragged the team down sometimes (and they both are at fault on aspas and frod leaving). without saying the whole duelist situation and the messy role swaps. the team now is a bit worse at firepower and(a lot worse) in igling but look a lot cleaner and organized, with a more "back-to-basics" approach, and i see it being better than 2024 loud.
as for the rest, like i said is clear bias for NA. "na t2 talent better than br" why? "potter can turn eg great" no she can't lol she don't make miracles. eg 2024 haven't reached a single playoff (except for kickoff but that was one game), eg 2023 before demon1 was at the bottom of the league, and eg 2025 will be by far the worst roster eg ever had on franchising
they looked really weak last year
so did NRG C9 and EG buddy. they placed almost the exact same spot as the BR teams and some people also put them high on power rankings today
teams have changed a lot, it is not fair to take last season as a definitive factor because it's not the same teams at all.
almost all the na teams making upgrades in firepower
so did most of the brazilian ones, and the ones who didn't (LOUD) got better on team synergy and organization
of course there's bias, but i see a lot more bias on NA fans. just see how many people seriously believe in EG.
why the brazilian teams are looking good
MIBR: They got fucking aspas, and probably nzr is coming too. Artzin is probably staying and had a good season, was the best on the team. Xenom and Cortezia are two good prospects from tier 2. The team also has a pretty good coach. Conceptually is almost the same as NRG: Two promising rookies, an IGL that could be great, an world champion, and a player who deserved a better team last season (Artzin/S0m). The difference is that NRG has more popular and experienced names overall, which is fair to rank them higher. But they're not too far from each other name by name.
FURIA: Havoc went to his original role and is comfortable again, Mwzera is a pretty good initiator, Heat is a great addition, Raafa is a great IGL, and Khalil might be the weak link but he could finally reach his full potential as we've seen a few times. On top of that they got a pretty good coach. People who say this will be the worst team of the league are the ones biased that haven't bothered to actually look at this team and think for more than five seconds. This team was 3-2 on Split 2 and got better in almost every way, they will at the very least fight for playoffs.
2G: This one might be a wildcard and biased, as they haven't played tier 1 yet. But they looked very good on ascension, mix fresh talents with experienced leadership, got a good temporary sub for spike, and have a lot of synergy. It's not crazy to think it might work out.
LOUD: It's the worse, but people are overreacting to the changes. The team has a lot of firepower, and the core Dgzin - Cauanzin - Tuyz - Pancada is very strong on paper. The only downside is V1nny, that could drag it down, but if he does well, why wouldn't this team go well?
they look much weaker than their na counterparts
Why?
He played four maps as duelist in the entire last season how can you judge that lol
Oloco do nada o grêmio no vcb KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
That's understandable, but while i do like Bang, i feel like he isn't very consistent and that Zander can fill this role as good as him, specially if he goes as well as eeiu did. Zander will still have to prove himself tho. And while this core may have had an issue they still got top1 and top4 in americas, clearly have proven themselves. They have enough time now to work on the issues they had and i feel like they will be even better than this last season. Also boostio somehow is still an underrated IGL
In sentinel? Why would he need to go back then
He's playing duelist as far as i know
furia are not touching top 6
have you actually think more than five seconds about furia team or are you just bandwagonning and putting them on the bottom tier for no reason?
top 4 is : g2/sentinels (i think both are fucking insane), then leviatan, then 100t
that's fair, i do think lev might be my hot take, so i understand putting them on top, i just think this team has a lot more problems than people are thinking about. g2 is the undeniable best, and top 2 to sentinels is fair, i just have more questions about them than 100t
top 5/6 : kru - nrg
again, fair enough, but to me kru has downgraded quite a bit. adverso igl is icky and mta (allegedly) staying on the team is nonsense. nrg could be a bit higher but i agree with being cautious with this team with the new talent
top 7/8 : 2G / EG
you can't imply that i'm biased and then put EG higher than top 10 lol
I mean G2 is CLEARLY the number 1 rn. like very clearly. the only 100% undeniable upgrade with 0 downsides. and i think you're overrating EG a bit. other than that fair list
good team, possibly top 4-6 next season and develop to world titles in 2026
I mean you could say that but they still won. And 4th place is still also a good position specially because they got really close to 3rd.
And i understand your point, like i said the teams are very close to each other on paper to me, so they could be 4th-6th. And yes maybe other teams have better rosters and upgrades on paper. But 100t gives me very few reasons to doubt their work based on the last season, the roster building and the individual players, while i do have some concerns in those aspects about teams like NRG and Sentinels. So i'm choosing to stick with them for now. It doesn't mean it can't change, we still have some months of off-season too.
Why? Won the first split, 4st in the second, was three rounds away from going to champions, kept the same roster and the one guy who left got a replacement on arguably the same level if not better. Have a experienced but at the same time young team with lots of room for improvement and a nice coaching staff. I think this team is pretty good personally
it depends on how v1nny performs as an IGL, but im not expecting much from this team either
