He's getting buffs next month, according to the latest Dev Diaries
Bro's not getting off the toilet for the next 2 hours
You're probably right. BLEED's probably tryna make as much money as they can off of him 😭
What the hell is that username bro
Well, yeah, but that doesn't mean he's a bad caster, per se
Yeah that's fair. It's still more fun on average if both the casters are popping off (Pansy + Hypoc in Champions 2023 is a great example of this)
I can definitely see him being an import, yeah. Hopefully there were some good scouts watching the EMEA Ascension group stage
Wyatt is a great analyst but he just doesn't seem like he has the energy to cast most of the time
Depends on the region. In Pacific, for example, every game so far has been a 2-0, most of the time pretty one-sided. EMEA, on the other hand, needed to use the rulebook to decide tiebreakers for both groups
Technically leaf replaced him, and icy replaced leaf
wackie 100% needs a team (same with waddle) but unfortunately there's only 60 slots in tier 1 per region (which sucks, because there's probably several hundred people that deserve it)
I know avez can flex (I mean, come on, look at his agent history) but the reason I think he's recon is because Saadhak is probably flex
Also nataNk might be the next Scream if that's the case
If KC is looking to sign Minny then I'm assuming that means they're putting avez on recon
Also damn I didn't realize teams were fighting over nataNk. Is he really that big of a prospect?

This is after the satchel nerfs btw
bang is more proven at a tier 1 level, but that just means he has more experience. Pound for pound idk if he's any better than zander right now
CONGRATS TO XLG! KNEW THEY COULD DO IT :)
No idea. If I had to guess, it would probably be the org wanting to sign exemplary foreign players to win Ascension so they can gain the benefits of being a tier 1 team, before dropping the lesser or their two imports for a local player that can try to fill their shoes. Would seem kinda scummy from a player's perspective, especially if they helped them win Ascension, but at the end of the day the imports are going into this knowing one of them will be dropped if they win
Canada hasn't really been overshadowed, per se. Sure, none of the orgs are Canadian, but it's not like Canada doesn't produce some great talent, including but not limited to:
Apeks was Team Liquid's affiliate team this year. What happens now that they've ascended?
SEN vs. KC at Masters Madrid is an underrated pick for sure. Even though it was 2-0 that game was INTENSE
That would be pretty cool if you can make it happen. If not, though, then no worries. Up to you
Yup. Maps 1 and 2 were 26-7 in AK's favour, map 3 was relatively close, and maps 4 and 5 both ended 9-3 at the half for M80. Almost as if the script was flipped halfway through the series
It depends on the number of teams. CN is my favourite just because of how optimal it is (there's a reason we use it at Masters), but it only works because they've got 8 teams.
For 6 teams the Americas format works well, as it pits everyone against everyone to decide who makes playoffs to ensure the 4 best teams make it through.
As for 10 teams, I much prefer EMEA's format over Pacific's. Even with how weird the tiebreaker rules are, it's still a lot better than a straight double elimination bracket where 6 teams get byes and if you lose 2 games you go home.
So you want it to go from "we're gonna ban our worst map and your best map" to "you have to 3-0 us to win"?
If you were given the choice to see a live game right now, would you rather watch OpTic vs. LOUD or Made in Brazil vs. Made in Brampton?
Hopefully not. To be fair, though, M80 is coming from lowers and could've gotten 3-0'd yesterday
I didn't realize JFT meant Justice For Tomorrow. That's actually really hecking cool
NT RIDDLE! They played Harbor on Ascent, it was over before it even started
Hold up you might be cooking with that Lotus comp
Meh. It's just your rank. It doesn't mean anything at the end of the day. I'm in silver, and yet I have diamond friends who I play better than and bronze friends who could easily win a game I would struggle to make close. The silly little icon next to your name on the friends list isn't a reflection of your individual skill by any means.
When do you two go head to head
That really is all it takes, huh? Let Turkish aim do its thing and everything will follow suit
Also do keep in mind the Ghost doesn't have any unique animations, the Vandal doesn't have any either other than the Araxys pullout, and the knife is essentially a reskinned Magepunk Sparkswitch.
I think that second point was one of the reasons they were opting for the Sage.
I remember doing a mini-analysis to see how they were running C execs. In the game against MXS, they hit C 4 rounds, and they did this same Sage wall on all four execs: https://imgur.com/a/wFRrPVj. What this Sage wall does is it lets them flood into Bend, as well as let koalanoob take an early fight from an advantageous angle
I'd rather have yay on sentinel than flexing to Viper and Skye like he was on BLEED. Everyone does best on their comfort role, and I think we both want that for yay
Very neat thoughts
Also I think it's doable for M80 to put Viper in. You could probably cut the Sage or Deadlock from the comp and put koalanoob on Omen, leaving Zander free to play Viper
They already shipped that update several months back. Why do you think Ludilue gets so many clips?
I get crashies, but why yay? johnqt and Zellsis both play sentinel
True. And of course Sentinels aren't going to sign all three. What I'm saying is what I'm hearing when it comes to Sentinels speculation on VLR is always some combination of two of the three players
