It really depends on where in Canada you're going. Different cities have vastly different climates just because of where Canada is located geographically. Do you mind sharing approximately where you're going?

People in Montréal mostly speak English. It's Québec City where most of the French people live, but they'll take one look at you and know you don't speak French.

It's New Brunswick that's the real problem. There, some people speak English and some people speak French. Doesn't matter who you are, doesn't matter which of the two they speak... people will talk as if they expect you to completely understand what you're saying. One time I was in a public restroom in New Brunswick when this trucker looking guy in his 40s asked me if I needed to use the urinal in rapid fire French. The problem isn't that he's aggroing. The problem is that they're not on the same page. Some are aggroing, some are playing passive backsite, and some are dry swinging through Viper orbs with Odins in 5v4s. It's not any single person's fault. They need to solve their problem as a team. They need to regain their synergy, because I'm honestly not seeing it as of late.
