The way I learned it, North America is divided into three regions: Central America (sometimes including Mexico, depending on the source), the Caribbean, and Northern America (which is actually the name the United Nations uses for Canada + USA + Mexico, though sometimes with Mexico left out... again, depending on the source).

Nope. Canada/USA/Mexico are the upper part of North America—North North America, if you will—with South North America actually being Central America (everything between Guatemala and Panama) and the Carribean (everything between the Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago).

People often forget North America isn't only three countries. But it's not. It's 23 countries, even when you take out all the external territories in the Caribbean.

Haven is honestly just a personal preference above all else. I enjoy playing her + get more value with her on average than if I were to play Omen/Harbor/Viper.

(That being said, I'm kinda instalocking Cypher on Haven nowadays lmao, Astra's my second pick)

I've been playing Astra mainly on Haven (and Pearl when in casual gamemodes). I don't think I'll be adding any other maps to that list besides Split and maybe Abyss, to be honest. The buff is VERY very nice but it doesn't really fundamentally change the way you play Astra, nor how good Astra is as a baseline on any map—all it really means is Astra has more utility to use throughout the round (which is GREAT but it doesn't warrant playing her on maps where she's never been an option prior imo).

Karmine Corp has a good amount of money, and a top level igl like Saadhak working with one of the best coaches in the world in ENGH (along with one of the best star players in the world in N4RRATE if you can convince him to play)... god, I would absolutely LOVE that team.

This is true. Another idea would be somehow getting your org on board—if you can convince them you're a team that has a serious shot at winning Ascension then who knows? They might not be so opposed to the idea of leaving GC in a bid to try to get into the highest level of play. And if that doesn't work, then you can always come back to GC through open qualifiers (which should be a breeze if you're a well-established team)
