Your logic is flawed. If LOCK//IN wasn't a Masters, then Tokyo would be the first Masters of the year, but FNATIC also won that anyway

Good point actually, didn't think about that. I guess it would suck if (purely for example) you spent a massive amount of time on Bind, and your Bind is really really good, but then this guy comes out and he's just insanely good on Bind and counters everything you've been doing and your offseason is now a waste of time
My point is that this is the orgs' fault that everyone has the same banner. They complained to Riot because some teams had better banners and were thereby selling better or something (even though it's the team's job to design a banner). I can't find a source but direct quotes were sent a bunch of times in various VLR threads yesterday
Everyone's blaming Riot for the banners in the capsules but isn't just the orgs' fault? Like come on, how hard is it to make a good player card? I get you don't have a ton of money nor a ton of time but literally just hecking find someone on Fiverr to do it for $10 and you have a top tier player card by the next day. It's genuinely not that hard, and this outcome is on behalf of a ton of laziness from some (not all) of the orgs that didn't sell much last year, either because their banners weren't good or because they don't put in the effort to create any hype or frankly any semblance of a fanbase to begin with.
Yes I'm pissed, thank you for noticing
Teams that run him will have as much time to prep with him as teams that play against him will have to learn how to counter him
Damnnnn bro's an og
I wish I had that buddy on my Vandal 😔
Idk how I feel spending a good amount of money on a premium skin and then using a battle pass skin over it, but regardless I'm a fan of your collection, seems very well put together :)
I will say that I think the buddy you have on your Vandal would look better on your Phantom. Just a thought
I get that perspective. All I can really say to that is this: once you use it for a while and get past that initial thought, you can grow to like it. I personally LOVE spraying with this Phantom—it almost seems designed to sound good while spraying. The pullout and reload are also very well crafted, both in vfx and sound design.
I will say that the sound quality on different headphones also plays a part in this. When I play with earbuds, it does sound a little airy, but with certain headphones you can hear more of the bass frequencies so it sounds like a heavier Phantom than it actually is.
Waiting for a specific knife to show up in my shop rotation
Ironically, of all the skins I own, Prime Vandal is one of the ones I'd be fastest to replace. Don't get me wrong, it's very very satisfying and I love hitting shots with it because the kill banner is one of the best in the game. But I love having great variants and Prime debatably doesn't have that, and it also feels very vanilla compared to others Vandals of the same tier or higher (e.g. Champions 2023, Imperium, Sentinels of Light, Kuronami, Overdrive, and Elderflame, to name a few of the ones I like). I have felt at times a little bored of it, albeit never for very long.
At the end of the day, Prime is satisfying as hell :D
I hope so too 🥲
Will have to see when Kickoff rolls around. Because I don't think I'll be able to tell how hyped or not I am for the team until they start playing
Cavalier was a premium skinline in a battle pass that ended almost 2 years before I started playing the game
(Also frankly it's very ugly, I would never spend money on it)
It was my favourite skin in VALORANT back when it came out, and honestly might still be... my friend bought it for me as a gift in December 2023—it was my first skin, in fact
My two usual setups are black/gold with the Harbor buddy and red/green with the gimbap buddy. :)
Also this goes without saying but Sentinels of Light Phantom slander will not be tolerated
I see Realm3098, I downvote
Waiting for Terminus A Quo 🫡
Only other skin I'd buy is Overdrive Stinger. Don't have a screenshot ready but I'd use the pink variant with the Octobuddy from the Champs 2023 event pass
I've heard people call this roster a few things, but a budget roster isn't one of them
LOVE the setup (especially both your rifles)
This seems fun, will share mine :)

I like rambling :3 especially about comp theory
Lemme watch that vid and get back to you (prolly won't get to it until tmrw)
I appreciate the vote of confidence but nah
They just won Tixinha how is that the one good thing they have lmao
How is heat being a hard carry a good thing about FURIA?
I'm going to hear about this forever, aren't I 😅
Very interesting comp! Trying to think about this generally since I'm assuming you see this comp working for all maps... what's your idea behind this? I like Gekko and Tejo in the same comp, but I don't see Omen and Astra both fitting into this lineup—you're gonna have to sell me on that. What's your vision behind no sentinel? And if it was up to you, which duelist would you run with this?
Fully agree with everything you just said
Before dignan joined there was only me and you and you're better at the game than I am
The few premium skins you have are great, and you definitely have good taste with buddy matching (the LEV buddy goes well with the Vandal variant, the epilogue buddy ties nicely with the star on the ghost, and literally anything black and red goes with Red Recon). Your title goes nicely with your player card as well. I will say I'm not a huge fan of your sprays because most of them are niche and you only have one you can use midround. Also I do believe there have been much better battle passes for you to buy—the one with Comet and Cloudweaver was especially nice.
Overall 7/10. Definitely a solid budget collection, but it could've been better 👍
I think Prelude to Chaos Vandal is better, but Primordium does have the better Phantom and I don't think you can argue that
G2 have the best trailer lmao genuinely found that entertaining
Allez les violets? Idk, it looks great but I don't vibe with it for Karmine Corp
Idk if Lothar is acting stupid for Twitter engagement but I think he's smart enough to know you can basically cover the entire tp with one molly so why not just do that instead
One molly, 50 dmg per tick
Ult is 9 points to match Breach
What I love about Tejo is the fact that YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY SEE TEAMS RUN A TEAM COMP THAT DOESN'T HAVE ONE OF SOVA OR FADE IN IT (excluding Gekko/Skye or solo Skye on like Bind or Split)
That's not relevant to your point
and how did having cauan and pancada go for them in stage 2 (with Saadhak mind you)
This is what I'm responding to
Ok no I'm not standing for this slander
Of course they did poorly. They had Saadhak on duelist, for crying out loud
This feels targeted 🤕
I don't remember exactly—all I really remember is he has a direct connection to Mexico. I think he also has a slight Mexican accent, though I might just be imagining it
(Please don't answer if you don't know, thank you!)
From what I've been seeing, when you deploy your E ability, there is a sort of trail that flies off from your location toward where you placed the nade, and then the nade starts detonating when the trail reaches it. I haven't seen much but I have noticed the trail doesn't go through walls—it takes the same sorta pathing that a Skye ult, for example, would take.
Let's say you're on Bind. You're playing in Lamps, and you wanna send a nade over to Hookah. Would the trail have to go all the way around the map? And would that mean the nade is detonated later? (i.e. does being farther away from where you want the nade to go affect how long it takes to be set off?)
