So who is this crowd going to cheer besides the Chinese teams and LEV? Half of this tournament is radio silent and the other half is hype as fuck.
EMEA is like the most washed region right now. TL, KOI, KC all washed. FNC looked crazy inconsistent through Split 1. FUT didn't even deserve their win against the #12 team. TH aren't at their best. It's a wrap.

FPX nearly beat GenG (a top 4 team in Shanghai). TH got exposed badly by G2. FPX have looked better and more confident than TH so far. Gotta go with FPX 2-1 here.
DRG legit should've won this game 2-0, but they threw so many advantages and they seriously need to work on their pistols. Hope to see them improve. TZH is a hell of a player too.

GenG/FPX and FUT/FPX were the best games. GenG/LEV was underwhelming. Every map was a convincing win, not much back and forth.
Might actually have been the worst map I've seen all year. What the fuck was DRG doing? What the fuck was cNed and AtaKaptan doing? Jesus
The worst part is that DRG would've won that fucking map if they didn't throw so many advantages, FUT are legit frauds
Tbf vo0k is unbelievable in China, but when you play against teams that understand how to play a map and not just 'China deathmatch' you can't really pop off, Chinese teams will need to learn how to play differently if they want to succeed in an international
Kai and FengF are my goats but Trace threw against EDG and somehow lost to DRG. It was a mess of a Split 1 for China. Fucking Nova made it to playoffs.

LEV? Unsure. Depends who is fragging aside from Aspas. Meanwhile Ayy, Berlin, Autumn and Life are all capable of dropping a 30 bomb.

FPX looked absolutely unbelievable at some points in this match. What a game. Had me on the edge of my seat. Berlin's tp on ascent which made the casters and the crowd go crazy has to be one of the best things I've ever seen.

I have no idea why anyone has doubted GenG. They play some of the most disciplined, smart Valorant out of any region. Even if they were shaky in Split 1 it looks like they're already getting back in Madrid form from what I saw in map 2 and 3 against LEV. Only thing that was missing was Texture going crazy on Jett. They're a top 3 team right now.
I'm a big EDG fan but I feel like they lowkey had their moment to do damage in an international already. Based off their performance in Madrid I'm not too hopeful about their chances in Shanghai or Champs 2024. They had a solid Split 1 but nothing that makes me think 'best in the world'.

Both GenG and Team Heretics choked on Bind against SEN in Madrid. TH absolutely should've won Bind, but when they were about to get to 12 they just disrespected SEN for no reason and fell apart.
What's NRGs next match going to be? I'm assuming they'll go against a shitter team like FURIA and there will be 100 threads of "THEYRE BACK" and then once they go against a real team they'll get stomped. Just a prediction.
GenG play such disciplined Valorant I don't think they'll fall for FPX's tricks. But I think this game will be closer than most people think. 3 map game.
