who?

posted 5 months ago

He was insane against SEN and NRG but in the first 3 matches EG had in Split 1 he was averaging like 8 kills a map. EG had a pretty rough start.

posted 5 months ago

Somehow I could see this happening

posted 5 months ago

I think Demon1 would be that extra bit of firepower that G2 needs

posted 5 months ago

What is the future for Demon1?

posted 5 months ago

I think Heretics are just too inexperienced overall to win an international right now. Their mental just isn't good for a best of 5.

posted 5 months ago

Omega group has the freelo teams (FURIA and MIBR) and I'm sure Potter will put a lot of thought into the 100T match, so I wouldn't put it past EG to find a way into Champs. Jawg's been grinding in ranked so maybe he'll turn it up this Split.

Probably one of the most deserving wins ever tbh. GenG have played their asses off all year and went through a ton of physical and emotional exhaustion. The amount of maps they've had to play is crazy and they beat every team they faced regionally and internationally.

posted 5 months ago

hfmi is pretty cracked but Flex1n was their best player and word is he's moving to BLG

posted 5 months ago

EDG and FPX are a lock. They each might lose a match this Split but they're the regional powerhouse and have a ton of points already.
Trace and DRG are likely but it's possible they won't make it. You never know with China. Both teams have a record for being inconsistent and choking.
BLG, Wolves and JDG could surprise. JDG now comm in English, BLG is making big roster changes and Wolves have a new IGL.

TH have had the biggest choke/throw moments this year I guess. TH threw against PRX in Madrid, got reversed swept by FNC, nearly threw Icebox to FPX and made history throwing against G2 on Ascent (the Split map in their first match against G2 could also be considered a throw). They're cracked aimers but their mental has been poor and they lose focus very easily.

SEN and PRX are up there I guess. SEN in Split 1 threw a number of rounds and maps. PRX vs 100T on Icebox was a complete throw.

posted 5 months ago

Flex1n is lowkey kind of insane regionally so that should be a big upgrade for BLG, praying for the Champs comeback

posted 5 months ago

trust that JDG make champs, stew cant go without a trophy forever

posted 5 months ago

'fraid yosemite was a bit better

posted 5 months ago

I'm thinking Tenz sweeps him in a calm 2-0 victory

posted 5 months ago

Midrid LOUD beat a washed EDG and an FPX that only had two players firing. I'd place 100T above them.

posted 5 months ago

if they told wo0t that geng were chinese he wouldve dropped 101 fr

posted 5 months ago

This but only for FNC. I honestly believe they're finished internationally. TH will carry the EMEA banner going forward.

posted 5 months ago

GenG have to be considered a top team for Champs and they're the best team itw right now but I'm worried that burnout is going to get to them. Other teams have had time off and plenty of time to cook stuff up. I think winning Shanghai might end up being a debuff for GenG going forward.

posted 5 months ago

FPX and PRX will do some crazy shit on Abyss

posted 5 months ago

I got faith that Wolves and BLG will do better with their roster changes and that JDG will cook now that they're comming in English

Tbf Lakia is one of the best initiators in the world and Munchkin's calling is top notch and a pretty clutch player overall

posted 5 months ago

Undefeated in MSI and undefeated in VCT Shanghai. Pretty crazy honestly.

posted 5 months ago

GenG have beaten every team regionally and have beaten every single team they've faced internationally. They are 100% the deserving winner and the best team in the world with the best map pool. But yeah the GenG/TH match was pretty mid aside from a fun Ascent and Icebox. GenG stomped them otherwise.

Bro thinks this looks like an actual bracket and not a clubhouse

Is it possible?

posted 5 months ago

GenG
DRX
TH
SEN
NRG

Making an early prediction that PRX doesn't go far in Champs, just have a feeling but hope they win the whole thing

posted 5 months ago

They casted G2/TH for some reason instead. Honestly a strange choice considering Doug and Babybay are NA casters. You would think they would've switched which casted which. Achillios calling the GF would've made up for the lack of crowd response.

posted 5 months ago

Glad GenG won an actual tournament and not a Clubhouse like Madrid. These guys deserved it for all the work they put in this year and the plethora of incredible performances. Could easily see GenG taking another trophy in the near future if they stay together.

If GenG lose this bo5 which in every way should be theirs (insane map pool, experience & map bans) will they forever be known as g0ng?

posted 5 months ago

I'm shocked no one picked him up after his first run with TH. This run he's looked even better, honestly one of the best players in Shanghai. I think Vitality picking him up would be the right move for that team.

posted 5 months ago

What, you think Boostio is fodder?

posted 5 months ago

APAC might disband afterward tbh

posted 5 months ago

We really need any added maps from now on to be visually/aesthetically interesting, Abyss seems to be good with that.

posted 5 months ago

Doesn't SEN have the second highest amount of Champs points below EDG? I thought it was impossible for them to miss Champs

posted 5 months ago

Honestly SEN going on a run in Champs seems reasonable, but I'm predicting PRX to fall off post-Shanghai, wonder if anyone feels the same

posted 5 months ago

Both teams are so much fun to watch and so likeable. Honestly I think GenG deserves it more. They've really been put through the wringer this year. Played a shit ton of maps and came up short against SEN, then came up short against PRX and had to go through a tougher road in Shanghai. Their map pool is insane and they've beaten a plethora of great teams. Hard to root against them.

Would still be awesome for patitek to get a trophy lmao poor guy doesn't even have a team to play with after Shanghai is over

posted 5 months ago

Probably going to be a good Omen map, every map is a good Omen map pretty much and the close corners/verticality will allow for all the typical Omen plays

Give me a 5 map with 5 OT gigabanger series

posted 5 months ago

Love CGRS, bring that man back to tier 1

posted 5 months ago

FPX need two things right now. To improve their defense (their attack looked stellar) and cut the Clove on Icebox. Unless Life just stops playing Clove like he's on Jett. The amount of times he pushed on defense like he had a dash was stupid. I'm REALLY looking forward to FPX's Haven. NathanD and berLIN will cook up something insane I just know it.

posted 5 months ago

I still think they should've benched Ethan or crashies instead of Marved

posted 5 months ago

Benjy and Meteor are about on par with each other. Both have had many insane performances this year and are the top 2 sentinels in the world. As for this Masters I think wo0t > t3xture, both have had unbelievably good maps and a few maps where they went quiet. But wo0t is just mechanically unreal at times.
