It's really a mix of things imo. Internal issues really screwed them over and they had a hard time adjusting to the Tejo/Yoru meta. Jieni7's poor performance wasn't the only problem but he had a very important role and underperformed the worst. We know EDG have had issues with bad mental as well, and I think the S1mon situation (fan reactions, doxxing etc) made them lose focus.

Honestly I don't know. He's their best player but he couldn't get activated in Toronto. I think RRQ is destined to be forever mid. Maybe Ewok/Crazyguy leadership just isn't working. All I can say is that Crazyguy is definitely not a great initiator for Jemkin.

People were downplaying how important YOU was to the team. Integrating a new and inexperienced player who can't even comm properly really ruined their chances. Of course meta changes and overall inexperience on stage probably didn't help but losing YOU was the nail in the coffin.

It's kind of crazy how people were downplaying XLG losing YOU like it wouldn't fuck them completely. If you listened to the comms and watched the games you'd realize that YOU was very important to the team. Not an exceptional player, but his replacement couldn't comm with the team.

It would've been easier for SEN if they drew the EMEA teams
