They're also playing in lobbies that 99% of the player base will never even see
Also, confirmation bias
Also, that's speculation as to why. They could just be bored of Reyna
Unironically, that's all a lot less useful than the ability to escape unpunished from any fight, especially after sitting in off angles.
You're also severely underestimating the usefulness of the flash in ranked. If enemies have a crossfire to break it, they would also have a crossfire on your dinky little aimlabs shield.
The Odin isn't the problem; Ascent is.
No simple answer. It's gonna be personal to you what you need to improve on. Review your own gameplay and find out what radiants/pros are doing differently.
pink Chronovoid phantom and green Gaia's vandal
Can't possibly answer this just based off your tracker and no gameplay footage. Below ascendant, you just gotta focus on your mechanics and winning gunfights.
I mean if you reach high RR immo 3 it's basically the same skill level as radiant, just with less grinding
I would be really interested to see if premier players or even whole teams start getting picked up. I'd imagine it's a much better predictor of success in pro play than just farming ranked, even if the overall skill level is obviously lower. Even then, some of the gameplay I've seen in contender league is just wild.
In ranked, yes. It's uniquely a very easy map for controllers and sentinels to pick apart unsupported entry plays, and most duelists in ranked just aren't used to asking for help like that.
Meanwhile, even on attack, there's a bunch of lurk and eco plays that anyone with a smoke can do to get cheesy kills. It's the map I most frequently find myself getting shotgun kills on Omen.
split is dumb because it's really fun for controller and senti players but ass for duelists
just lock omen and farm, trust
Contacting with Fade + Breach + Neon works on just about any map if it's not actively counter-stratted
Mostly the same, just more diversity in sentinels
If Melser ends up on mibr somehow I will change my flair
allegedly Derrek, Nature, supamen, and an unconfirmed duelist (word is either sym, icy, or okeanos)
plus he'll get to work with his favorite coach again. mibr might be back
Quick cash is alright but my main issue is with bank it. It's supposed to be the deathmatch-type mode, but there's a huge difference between people who are playing for the objective and people who are playing for kills. The game also ends way too quickly when you have one team that's sweating the objective and everyone else who's just kind of taking fights.
Imo bank it should do away with the coin vaults and implement a bounty system where you only get coins for kills and you get more coins for killing people who are ahead or something. It's just kinda awkward the way it's currently set up.
That being said, the ranked experience is genuinely awesome. Most of the maps are great and games almost always feel winnable throughout.
How the fuck is that braindead? What else do you call the role of the player who flexes between flash ini, secondary controller, and/or senti depending on map?
Examples in 2024 include Mazino, Zellsis, JonahP, and Chronicle. They don't fit cleanly into any of the four defined roles.
don't even open the threads at this point just let them shout into the void
Me too man he's so exciting in pro play and I farm in ranked with him but it's annoying getting teammates doubting you from the start.
The Phoenix changes make me think they're really buffing high tide too. Hopefully he gets multiple charges or something
I think riot said harbor changes are coming later because they're larger in scale
I think the flash hitting more reliably just means you can't sidestep it as easily. Combined with the wingman stun being wider, it seems like they wanted to minimize the amount of times you hear them activate but then not actually hit
The pickup nerfs and 8 point ult are honestly huge
Been playing since beta. Game is super fun. I just wish they had better casual game modes in addition to ranked
Yeah I'm not saying he's bad, just that these are nerfs to the reasons he's picked
This is not a buff. Gekko isn't strong because people get stunned by wingman. He's strong because of a farmable ult and utility that can be thrown and reused trivially.
Seems fine. The things they improved are really just the consistency, to reduce the amount of times you hear dizzy go off or wingman do his clap and then you peek and the enemy isn't hit at all
Not really. You just don't hold angles without being near cover. It's just like not sitting in one-and-dones against recon agents or not sitting in cubby/backsite areas against gekko/breach/raze
no clue. I just stick around here and discord for valo updates
Skye isn't a duelist, and her flash is a lot better overall
take the leap and just delete it, you really won't lose anything of value
Harbor's getting massive changes then if this is the case
Have other agent changes been leaked yet?
heat rumored on Furia just not confirmed
By "practicing" do you mean freehanding them or did you use lineup guides?
And yeah I like the idea of using breach util for support but his flashes are so bad to use for yourself
