They will drop Tejo entirely. His biggest value for them is space denial at round start and defuse denial in post plant. Having to choose one or the other makes him damn near useless

posted 2 months ago

They've played each other a million times now so it's easier for G2 to counter-strat, as opposed to T1 who hardly anyone expected to make it that far and play a Bo5 against

posted 2 months ago

it's the fans constantly yapping about how they play perfect valorant they perfected the meta they're unstoppable blah blah just to go and choke three internationals in a row against teams that all fell off anyway

they also play very passive and slow which often gets mistaken for being "correct" play

not many people hate the players themselves except to say they're ugly or dumb shit like that

allat just to get grouped by XLG

Xtra Long Gaming is here to take Toronto!!

posted 2 months ago

How are they the best team if they didn't pass the only objective measure of who the best team is

posted 2 months ago

There is a policy against it. That's what chet got a ban for

posted 2 months ago

How is it a coincidence and fluke that geng wasn't the best team at Madrid...? If you claim it's because they became better later, that's irrelevant to the results of that tournament.

posted 2 months ago

Extremely unlikely, because a team that becomes that dominant is liable to get thoroughly counter-stratted by all of the other best teams.

If it ever happens, it'd probably be a team that is best itw at improvising calls and setting up favorable duels on the fly, and not necessarily the team that is most prepared and/or best at following the meta.

posted 2 months ago

I know this is a wild concept for a G2 flair but maybe if a team chokes it means they deserved to lose.

posted 2 months ago

If it's true that Gambit was forced to play on 4 hours of sleep before facing acend then that's kinda fraudulent

But other than that no none of them are flukes. It's all cope.

not too much on moggle...

bilibili glueing will bomb out I'm sure

XLG clears all

posted 2 months ago

tired sick of watching fraudulent teams like that

posted 2 months ago

ew why like 100t

posted 2 months ago

idgaf about any of the teams likely to make toronot atp so which of these two should I root for to make it spicy

posted 2 months ago

genuinely the recoil of the guardian is sometimes easier to control than fuckin vandal spray

posted 2 months ago

Robbie will humble him.

EDG is out

now we wait on T1, V0T, and G2...

posted 2 months ago

this gets hard countered by the G2 comp. all of your utility is just mollies and recon which are terribly easy to bait out on a map like icebox, especially if you have a shitty chamber trip instead of KJ util

posted 2 months ago

if any team loses to this it's on them. it's effectively a 4v5 in terms of util before the spike gets planted

posted 2 months ago

stealth drone > dog
stun ~= heal (map dependant)
flash >>> salvo

there already weren't any solo Tejo maps. the agent is dead.

posted 2 months ago

I say this as a hater but they'll probably be better without him. Overhyped ass agent made them play like pussies

posted 2 months ago

most of them are fine

posted 2 months ago

place your bets everyone what round will the first tech pause be?

I say round 6

posted 2 months ago

allegedly

posted 2 months ago

no because queue times for anything other than ascent and haven will be 12 fucking minutes. people who don't like maps because they suck at them can cope and get better

posted 2 months ago

G2 is still favored but acting this tough without a trophy is why ur fanbase is so irritating. Stay humble

posted 2 months ago

bro..... they can't be doing him like this

posted 2 months ago

doesn't lukxo also not speak English? does it just not matter as much since he's senti...?

posted 2 months ago

Yes

posted 2 months ago

But that's the point - as much as I love watching cauanzin, he's only good at a handful of initiators and has really struggled with his utility since saadhak's departure. Maybe with Robbie he'll do better but I just feel like tuyz was the smarter player and could've picked up the perma ini role very quickly

posted 2 months ago

Genuinely think long-term it'd be better to keep tuyz in the initiator role over cauanzin, and DGZ didn't need to go, but I get they're rushing for the short-term turnaround. Oh well

posted 2 months ago

sunset is really easy to farm in ranked if you have good flanks and lurks

posted 2 months ago

I didn't say it was the only map since breeze...?

posted 2 months ago

Nah they're legit. He's been going crazy in their recent games

posted 2 months ago

cope. abyss is the only bad map since breeze. community-made maps would overwhelmingly be worse CS copies

posted 2 months ago

His team (EXL) hasn't lost an official match since July 2024 and regularly beats tier 1 teams in scrims so yes

posted 2 months ago

I heard he played on a Portuguese team before and might actually know Portuguese?? No idea if that's true and also how it would work with virtyy anyway

posted 2 months ago

I thought they were still trialing coaches

posted 2 months ago

Did you read the thread?? OP is matching up images from the loading screen and trailers that show a location in France. It's not just "champs paris = french map"
