It's simply unprofessional to badmouth your own players on reddit, among other things. As a coach, he really should have better emotional awareness. But like I said, he's doing a respectable job overall.
MIBR genuinely has all the ingredients to be a top-level team. The only shocking part is that they might already get results this early on.
And KRÜ has always been capable of this. They're just kind of a wild card.
It really wasn't all that wtf they were just better
This type of transitive comparison doesn't always work. Kru themselves got smoked by loud two weeks ago
Both. Cauanzin and v1nny were just not shooting, and kru have looked wayy better since that first series.
KRU faced G2 four times last year and lost every single time. They have a tendency to stack up and aggressively contact their way into fights at the expense of map control, which ironically helps them do really well on defense against teams that are expecting a more default spread, and worse on attack because they get themselves encircled.
G2 is a slow, util-forward team that tries to identify enemy positions before committing to plays. On Ascent attack, it was common for them to have Sova sit in tiles for a while, drone out in the middle of the round, and then kill defenders who thought they could walk up and are now caught in the open. G2 is a lot more likely to spot what KRU is doing before it's too late.
SEN I give better odds against but their retake-heavy approach to defense is still worrying. I don't see them giving up numbers advantages easily.
I would like to see it but SEN and G2 playstyles really hard counter them and also they seem intent on letting Haven through
at least they looked good doing it unlike lulquid
Same and it's fuckin brutal. I should just duo queue but I don't play at consistent times anyway
Only player to reach top 3 at champs for three years in a row and you think he's playing for vlr rating?
G2 is overrated right now. Still good, but overrated. It's loseable
not a fluke when most of the teams in the league are just worse
crws is a good igl all things considered, leave him out of this
artzin is only higher because he was on Raze in the third game. If you look at just the first two then yes aspas had substantially more first duels
Because they ran double duelist on 26 of those rounds
I checked four different sources that didn't confirm it, so yes I did get my answer faster
Will it be the same as right now or the -abyss/bind +ascent/icebox?
SEN probably destroy KRU if they let Haven through again. I feel like mibr has way better odds to upset and make Bangkok
if fut doesn't stomp lulquid I will eat my words
no I was talking about lulquid
KRÜ vs mibr is a toss-up imo
they play a competent team next dw their run stops now
KRÜ the BR/NA slayer or TLN the Korea slayer
nah it's all good I'm cool with KRÜ and mibr advancing
nvm loud are throwers 😔
I wanna know why tf they didn't ban their worst and Loud's best map
Baffles me that people still think Melser should be dropped
Surely ends up a top team by the end of the year no? Two rookies and little practice and we're seeing them improve so much over the course of just the lower bracket
Tbf 5th place is a great showing for a team straight out of tier 2. They have a lot of potential for the rest of the year
If NS can't beat talon do you really think they'd do well at bangkok
If they weren't good maybe NS should've capitalized on it. But they didn't. So now what?
Jitboys is cracked idk what to tell you
You mean spraying very narrow chokes with a phantom while NS walks up like bots?
Pistols are a skill issue. TLN was way more coordinated in their team fights.
Jitboys and Primmie hard carry. Crws doesn't frag much but he's igl, translator, and solo initiator so it's okay
fr0st is actually a decent coach all things considered he's just very unlikeable
Didn't know until just now that crws has to translate between English and Thai midround in addition to IGLing. Surely he'd put up way better numbers without that mental stack
Only one on talon positive in fk/fd this series and he went 7/2
The guy is insane. His aim and brain carrying this team alongside Primmie ngl
I give crws a break because he's igl and their macro is actually pretty solid
Was the only guy to pred KRÜ and mibr today, maybe he's onto something...
Most of these come down to drastic roster changes so yes they're believable in the context of not knowing wtf will happen over the course of a year
For example, if you told me Furia won champs next year I'd be like uhh okay but then maybe they picked up aspas, lukzo, cauanzin, and frod and it wouldn't be all that shocking
Yeah these are all pretty believable esp when lulquid got there by beating bottom 4 teams
