Underrated for too long, he's been good just as long as anyone and this DRX squad is looking formidable.

GenG is an unfair example lol, they've accomplished more in their first year together than almost every other team in history. PRX has a winning roster in all honesty, they just have a playstyle that boxes them in. There are almost no upgrades they can make really, and imo, it's more of a coaching/igl issue; if they can somehow tweak their style some, they'd be really difficult to beat. Only problem with that is they've branded themselves with all the W gaming stuff, so I mean it's just a matter of what's more important: the fans or winning.
Ahh, shoulda known you're one of those ppl. Even putting aside the obvious bigotry, post says who's the best GC player. Flor plays GC and GC only. So even if you don't consider her a female, she's still a GC player lmao.
If you mean in EU, it's Mary. If all of GC, very easily florescent.
I hope riot rigs the event to somehow put GenG and Lev on opposite sides of the playoffs bracket if they make it. I need that grand finals matchup, Valorant version of Lebron vs the warriors in 2018.
Edit: Probably should have spelled out grand finals lol
I mean out of the current map pool, SEN's strong points are bind, sunset, and lotus. I agree not sure what the haven pick was about but I mean sunset got banned, and geng are better on bind and lotus. Just unlucky matchup against a team with very few weaknesses, they'll be alright I think.
Aspas
Benjyfishy
Kingg
Beyn

A lot of their games have been good as well, not a bad shout.
Probably removing themselves from Valorant most likely. Nothing to play for now for at least 6 months.
Makes no sense to me why there's like 5 countries with their own leagues, and then like 90% of the top teams are comprised of players not even from the country. Like KPI is (imo) the best spanish VCL team, and they have 0 spanish players... So it's obviously not about cultivating talent in those specific regions. Why not just make 2-3 leagues within EU, makes it more competitive and would probably boost viewership of VCL. I mean the Dsyre squad haven't lost in like 30 games, nobody wants to watch that kind of competitive disparity. Only region deserving of there own league is Turkey, just off the fact of how many demons they've produced, but even then I think this has to change soon, or it's just useless to split it this way.
Kind of unfair comparison considering the Guard core was top 5 in America before franchising. Everybody already was aware they were T1 talent, just in a cooked situation. Most of these T2 teams are largely unproven.
sen fnc geng fpx, fnatic probably the best overall
Real robbery was to the flex players lol, no award is crazy
zekken raze > t3xture
t3xture/aspas/KK jett > sayf
Overall solid list though

Pretty sure it's this.
Considering what the past years have looked like for PRX, and this year as well, is it trophy or bust for them? Like if they don't win champs (and let's say don't even make top 3), should the roster get blown up? Pretty sure they're the longest tenured core in VCT right now, so would be interesting if those changes are made. Only issue is, there is virtually no upgrades quality wise.
His agent pool is too limited, doesn't play any initiators, any real sentinels or smokes. His agent pool is just duelists (-jett) and sage. It'd work if he played jett, but the fact that any jett maps it's either double duelist or icebox limits the way they can play imo. Team would be way better off if he played a kayo/skye/gekko to pair with Something jett.
Only one player on there 3 times...
The real goat will be back soon!
One year isn't enough to be considered the "goat", when you have players like aspas who've been doing what he's doing for as long as he's been playing VCT. I definitely think if they both perform well, that'd you have to put them in the top 5 though.
How does this whole thing work? From what I understand, only the top two teams from Stage 2 playoffs make it to Ascension. If that is the case, what's the point of stage 1/midseason invitational? Or circuit points as well? If a team like Oxygen, who've only lost like twice all year, have a bad stint in playoffs then their season is just done?
It's too hard to be good on a map for a long time, cause eventually you get figured out and have to play amazingly to win or you have to switch up comps. Every team has a base general idea of how they want to play things and aren't gonna deviate heavily from that, so once there is enough film on teams (TH has like 10+ sunset games this year), it gets pretty impossible.
I forgot the guys name, but the dude who can trap you in a nightmare coma with eye contact.
The B site needs to be changed, impossible to defend against any halfway conscious players.
You can't plan like this, nobody knows what the meta will look like a year from now. What if Sova becomes the best initiator again? imo, having dedicated players for at least 3 of the 5 spots is important (pref. duelist, scan initiator, smokes).
I'm confused, are they not all friends outside the game? Wonder what problems he's talking about.
EU bias for sure, derke and sayf have been good as always but haven't done anything noteworthy all year, something I can see an argument for, but personally have him at 4 or 5. Zekken has been consistent the whole year, won a trophy as MVP, highest rated player in Americas currently. One bad game and everybody loses their minds lmao.
aspas texture and who else? He's for sure top 5, and he's not 5.
Officials aren't the only way to improve, or even really a major way. Most the improvements are made in scrims/practice. These teams are playing 8-10 hours a day, you can't forget that, so there's really no excuse for saying they "can't" improve because of the length of season.
Are you supposed to get points for losing lmao?
Why does it say LEV is through on championship points? Are they already locked for Champs?
.14 1600
Good balance between speed and control personally.
Feel like he just wanted to start some sort of discourse lol, it's not like primmie wasn't available to be picked up by other teams. Plus, adding a player days before a big match is more of a disadvantage if anything. Don't know what he's on about.
H2H takes precedence over the other criteria.
This is a hindsight take just based on tournament wins. Going into lock in and tokyo, there were multiple teams that were trophy contenders (LOUD, DRX, NAVI, PRX, NRG), it really only narrowed down AFTER both those tournaments when FNC won both.
Assuming Gen.G gets to champs (not sure if they're auto qualified already), and finish top 4 or better, where would you rank them amongst the all time teams in Valorant's history? I personally think they'd be right there with last year's Fnatic and 2022 Optic.
It's not that bad. The first two international events are based on current form, and the biggest tournament of the year is based on year-round performance. It's just about whether you prefer to see all the "hot" teams at that point in time playing or if you value a whole year's body of work and consistency, cause either way somebody's getting left out.
Jawgemo's a world champion lol, just the fact you're comparing miniboo to him refutes your own point.
This is just what people say when duelist players don't have crazy numbers and their team is good/supposed to be good lol. Duelist by definition of the role is selfless, some players are able to create the space and keep it (by getting kills), others run in and die 90% of the time.
I was speaking from the standpoint of them keeping Ethan, not Demon1.
