Fracture is a really meta map for most teams. It's ran by a lot of teams as a top 3 option, and (most of the time) I think it's seen as a swing map. A ton of teams are good at fracture, so they are fine with teams picking into it or leaving it to second map bans/deciders. Every team in Masters playoffs had a winning record (excluding NRG) on Fracture. Since most of the teams are good on fracture, they have other perma-bans or bad maps that they are unwilling to ban over a chance at fracture.

Fnatic will ban fracture, so don't worry.

The main issue if EMEA wins is that quite literally every other team would be better off quitting LCQ since it will 100% be Giants and Navi. BBL, Heretics, Koi, and KC are 4 of the bottom 7 teams in Franchising. At least in Pacific we could get some cool shit from Zeta, Gen.G, GE or Talon to pop out of nowhere and challenge secret. But in AM, C9 is a masters level team already, it'd be awesome to see Sen battle Furia or Lev to see who is the best team after C9.

EG and Fnatic was such a close match. This is dumb as fuck.

It's the first season, so I'd hope that over the next year or two they will adjust based on how the community and players react.

In a squad with that much talent, the standout player is still Leo. Chronicle is a great support player, but I'd say Leo wins them more situations. He is quite literally worth 2 of any other player.

My main thing is that Giants and Navi are the only contenders for the masters, and I think that Navi has too deep of issues to compete and Giants don't have the peak like Sentinels do.

Sentinels should be the other seed to get in, should EG win masters, but I think Furia would be more fun to watch than Navi or Giants, and I'd like more LATAM representation in Levi.

They have underperformed so horribly, that I don't think they deserve it.

They have one of the EXTREMELY few good sentinels and EXTREMELY few good fragging IGL's, both NA has historically had 0 of global callibier. That, plus Ethan and C0m being the two best initiatiors in terms of utility, plus jaw and Demon1 being huge firepower, plus the whole team being 100% into the gameplan of potter. That is why.

I'm being serious when I've said that, since before Lock//in, America's was by far the closest region. I still 100% believe that. We have probably the weakest top team in, what right now, looks like EG. But, and this isn't even a bait, Kru could beat any of the 4 bottem teams in EMEA. Sentinels, Furia, and C9 could have all done better than DRX in Masters. But, I legit have no hope in NRG being able to put up a fight in their next match. EG could win, they look amazing right now, but I still have more hope in Fnatic or PRX (baring something coming back) to win the overall event.

I don't think an AM team is in the top 3 globally. But I think the majority of the top 10 should be AM teams. America's has the most depths, but the lowest peaks - on both ends of the spectrum.

EDG and EG were by far the two most electric/up-and-coming teams out of the group stage. Both teams are snowballing, even when EDG lost they have look even bettter today. It's unlucky to face THAT beast and then THAT animal back to back. That was the best EG has ever looked, and the best EDG has ever worked. Loud can still come back from this, but EDG and EG gotta do the same things in the next matchups, that would be only fair.

Reasonings:

each tier is roughly rated. T1, Fut, TS, Sen, and Furia could be fully mixed up and it'd be fine. However, Navi and Giants are not (imo) to the level of those teams. Just because their at the top of a tier doesn't mean they are compareable to the teams in the above group

F - Trash fucking teams. Kru is the best of em, DFM is the worst, mix around the middle i don't care.
D - A tier of teams that aren't consistent enough to be in C, but are not consistantly trash enough to be F.
C - They have things that, if they fix, I could see them fight HARD in LCQ. Teams like Navi just need to run strats and shit, or teams like Levi have to run less strats that just fucking kill taco in 3 1/2 seconds. Stuff like that.
B - I think these teams could have all filled in for other teams in the group stage of Masters. They are good, but not contend with the playoff teams good.
A - C9 would have beat DRX. That's it. Just got NRG'd and EG'd.

B Tier: T1 showed the highest peaks of the teams in B, Fut actually made the masters so it'd be too much of an argument if I put the other 3 above them. Sen, Furia and TS are all very close, but I gave Sen the edge because a) they beat furia and b) i think their roster can peak higher than Furia or TS. I just believe in TS more than I believe in Furia. If EG or Loud win Masters, Sen and Furia are the main battle for that second seed. I hope they can both challenge C9 regardless of the champs slots.
C Tier: All are skilled teams with FUCKING DOGSHIT tactics and protocols. Navi have a great roster but holy fuck they rely more on winning pure gunfights than PRX ever has. Levi just kills taco off in the entry OR they make him solo OP and save when they can't hold the fucking site since they are allergic to doing a retake. It's shit like this from different teams in this tier that makes them C.

EMEA has 2 of the top 5 teams undisputedly, with 4 of the bottom 6 teams undisputedly. Then teams like Vitality and Giants are just kinda mid, like on the level of a GE or a 100T. Navi and Fut are around the level of seed 5 or 6 in other regions too.

Both. It EG played great, but it seemed like loud was off the whole match. I think it would have still been winnable for EG if loud played good, but a normal loud would have had a much closer performance.
