tbh I think it's pretty decent, teams get a lot more 2nd chances than previous events

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah but things have changed. Teams get weaker and stronger. New coaches, new players, etc.

posted about 3 years ago

and Furia? plus there's been roster changes to aus/lev since that match anyways

Australs vs Furia from last year?

kk thx for reminding us the irrelevance of the results from teams that aren't even competing in this LCQ

Logically It would be better to talk things out with your team, who's comfortable on what role, etc. during your minute and half you have during agent select, but that rarely happens.

if ur good at fps games, why not Val then? just a genuine question btw

it's ok buddy there there

maybe you'll win Worlds one day

there's just as hype if not more league plays too uk

I've had this DRX (VS) flair since I've made this account since I've liked how the team has played. (I'm not even full Korean, I live in NA, and have even more of a reason to cheer for an NA team than any Korean team.) On the contrary, I happened to notice your vomit green Loud flair which wasn't even available until recently.

Jogos MOBA como LOL recebem dez vezes mais visualizações que VAL

nobody is hyping Korean teams up like they're going to be the next champions cough

"Vamos ser campeões no VAL" --> We're going to be champions of Valorant

Nice, is this the start of that series where posts are made about each participating team before Reykjavik like you guys did ahead of previous international events?

Why does Sen have so many fans? They narrowly won the first and arguably least competitive international event by barely beating Fnatic (14-12, 16-14, and 13-11).

people like you is literally why threads like these exist

Most Koreans couldn't care less about FPS games. They're all League fanatics, playing the game like its oxygen to survive.

posted about 3 years ago

unfortunate for FPX, hopefully everything is sorted out by the time the next international event comes

I'll root for PRX, Xerxia and Zeta as well for the same reasons, more Asian representation :)

lmao there was no "easier groups". There literally were NO groups. Also I think you forgot about V1.

you research your FACTS🤡🤡🤡🤡

and what about your more bogus lies about "A nonamer team which couldn't get a single map in the last 2 macthes they played?" when they literally won 3-0 their second to last game? couldn't even spell "macthes" correctly 🤡🤡🤡🤡

bruh no not that. I meant that isn't there like a specific rule for Valorant competitive that says no org can field more than one team at a time.

posted about 3 years ago

How is the winner of latam v brazil decided? The LCQ between NIP and Kru/Lev?

posted about 3 years ago

Wait, they're both part of the same org, FPX and this FPX ZHUQUE team. But isn't there some rule saying one org can't field more than 1 team regardless of which region, hence why T1 Korea and C9 Korea disbanded and Immortals disbanded when MIBR (their parent company is Immortals) decided to create a team in Brazil.

posted about 3 years ago

"Korea is a single team dogshit region with no competition"
cough cough Nuturn cough 3rd Place Reykjavik cough

"A nonamer team which couldn't get a single map in the last 2 macthes they played?"
who ONS? they won the lower bracket final 3-0 which was their 2nd to last match played.
also DRX never beat ONS 2-0, on the contrary it was the opposite
lmao research your facts

Last champs, Sea had by far easier groups. Group D wasn't dubbed group of death for no reason. Literally the only thing Team Secret had to do was stomp CR and Vikings in extremely one sided 2-0 matches

posted about 3 years ago

I've followed both scenes. Watched both teams play even recently. Ignore my flair but I just can't honestly say from the bottom of my heard that I think PRX will beat DRX. That's just me after watching both teams play all year up until recently.

posted about 3 years ago

"much much weaker region"??
Kr has performed better than Sea overall in Valorant's short history

"little to no competition?"
didn't Drx get 2-0'd by ONS or something?

posted about 3 years ago

Those 2 teams from sea had no doubt easier groups. Group D wasn't dubbed group of death for no reason. They also had a combined -18 round deferential in their post group stage matches afterwards . Also, the roster shuffle logic doesn't fly by me. With the exception of one player from each team, the teams have stayed identical. (Even more pressing is the fact that each of those players were not dropped, one had a medical leave and came back later, while the other joined the Singapore Armed forces for mandatory service. Both of those players were seen as a positive aspect of their respective teams and were desired to keep, and the one player changes that ensued were not done by the orgs for the prospect of replacing players for better ones and improving the roster). There is little to assume that PRX have gotten that much stronger to beat DRX.

posted about 3 years ago

I do remember a bit of hype from posts and forums on this site about Vikings, but definitely more about Vivo Keyd at Stage 3. But I agree the region has been showing consistent improvement, bringing much closer matches against bigger teams. Hopefully they make it further this time. #BeLOUD :)

posted about 3 years ago

I mean, they kind of do have a way to measure. Drx beat Prx 2-0 before at Berlin. Also Kr has had better results than Sea within Valorant's short history.

posted about 3 years ago

If it's from the top 4 regions from champs, then it can't be Loud since they're from Brazil, their own region which is unaffiliated with Latam. And also most likely not the winner of LCQ between NIP and loser of Lev/Kru since they're just going to be statistically only the 2nd best team from their own region. The only option would be the winner of Lev/Kru.
